Where would this tourney be held? X-Zone doesn’t strike me as a very tourney friendly place due to the fact they charge assloads of money for a single hour on a TV.

Went to CTF on Sunday. The GGXX comp is…lacking. I beat a few people on a stick…ME…with a STICK. So yeah, they can work on that a bit. But other than that, it was tight. Held it down in CVS2, almost beat someone in mvc2 
And Terry got his ass whupped by shiki’s and ken’s in chaos. First time playing tho.
Also, I just realized that I used to live about 30-40 mins away from CTF…on foot. Probably like 5 mins by car. Should I feel like a complete used douche? Comments.

Certainly not for the ground-breaking stories that the Final Fantasy series has created. Nor the phat ass summons. The tight gameplay and weakness/strengths system is pretty lame too.

Yes, I have moved to Middletown. However, I still get regular GGXX sessions with one of me pals (one of 2 people still living in rockland that plays GGXX) So, all is not lost. Also, Glenn just got a copy of GG. Man was that game…interesting. Hehe, i’m so glad I started at GGX.
Also, when I come to rockland on friday, imma be on j’s gunbound account, biznatch. Just throwin that in the air.

i dont know exactly when, but I should be going to Chinatown once more before Turkey Day vacation hits, at which point i will be trying my luck in cvs2/mvc2 in tampa. I’ll play you there, I guess, if I actually do go back there before thanksgiving, and that’s a pretty big if.

but this is regarding the mvc2 machine at pali mall… they SUCK BALLZ… completely unplayable…
player 1 side - the buttons are fine, but the stick is weird… if you hold down on the sticks… the machine thinks your doing a down-forward motion… needless to say, this messes up your triangle jumps, blocking low, qcf motions, etc
player 2 side - buttons all work fine… but the wiring for the stick is all sorts of f*cked up… the only thing wrong with the sticks is that if you tap or hold left… a fierce punch comes out… so it’s impossible to block, dash, airdash, combo, etc depending on what side of the screen you’re on

i used to really enjoy going down to pali, i met great people and its where i really learned to play, for a while there it seemed as if there was almost a blossoming “scene”,
but alas, the seemingly always broken equipment and the utter void and lack of competition has forced me to go elswhere,
hopefully one day things will improve, but in the meantime i will be in the shadows, watching and waiting-
