i went for ggxx, but i ended up playing vampire savior…at least I repped in that :lol:. Next time, I hope to PLAY ggxx. That would be nice. But yeah, casual sessions >>> tournaments. I was playing like complete shit. I guess I buckled a bit under the pressure. If I ever play in a tournament, it’s going to be console only. I’m NOT paying money to enter and pay my way through. I dropped 7 to enter, and 10 for my matches. That’s bullshit. Chances are I’m not going to a tourney at the break again. Cramped spaced + guys crowding around = much stuffiness. I still have a friggin’ headache. Anyways, we gotta hook up and session sometime.

played a lil marvel on the ps2 at x-zone for about 4 hours… big screen mvc2 was cool, but all against cpu. everyone asked how much my mas cost and where to get one. if you guys want to hold a tourney, that’s definitely the place. If you wanna see what a tourney would look like there, go on or before the 26th. Counterstrike tourney that day. Digipsych, psykikjin, and some others would know. Maybe even fireiswet. But yea, just come on the 26th and ask the guy, and he’d be open to options. I talked to Jason from yonkers about it, and he said getting jwong and xecutioner down would be no prob whatsoever, but laughed cuz i actually wanted them to come. now that i think about it… haha… so yea, if you guys wanna session, that’s the place, if you wanna tourney, that’s the place. Post here, make a sign and post it at x-zone, whatever.
Oh yea, jason wants to session, so post up and i’ll call him and he’ll bring top tiers down from yonkers/nyc. If you guys wanna play sanford, xecutioner, or even jwong, say something.

I’ve decided to play about with the 4 machines, to give you guys the general status. Here’s the news:
Tekken4: both sticks are a bit wobbly, 1p side has a slightly jammed RK, 2p side has an of RP.
CvS2: left MK is gettin weak again
MvC2: bad news ladies and gents, if you hadn’t known this before…HK on the 1p side is jammed. Also, assist2 is kinda iffy.
SC2: even this is deteriorating… the A button goes off randomly, so users of chars with especially long delays on those attacks (ex. Astaroth, Nightmare) beware :lame:

Okay, I’m not sure about Fri night for me, but it’s a 50/50 chance. Other people I know are probably down, so there’s your comp. If there’s a good turnout, I can assure you that x, sanford and some will be there next time.
No DC, only PS2 for marvel. Xbox, I highly doubt that there’s a connection for it there. If they set it up, I don’t know about it. Therefore, no Live. I don’t think they have the games for either systems, so it’s basically “bring your own mas” and “bring your own game.” I know Fire def brings his ggxx around, and I’ve been seen with my Marvel and mas on some days, so you know it’s possible.
Get some people posting, and I’ll see what I can do to tell the guy about it beforehand. Two days isn’t much, tho. No promises.
