paying to enter the tourney on top of paying per-hour in xz is a lot more than at ob…
at least ob just charges $8 pre person for the whole time…
but xz charges like $6 per hour…
so unless the tourney ends in under 2 hours, it’s cheaper to use ob…

i wont be able to do anything for a few days, maybe even a week cuz im moving to a new house… still in the area so i can still play at pali
its the first night home, but damn, i feel like i wanna go bak to school and do a lil more partying… hehe… oh well, the summer is here and its time to start playing some video games…

I don’t normally play capcom games, but I was at Pali and bored so I went to the arcade.
Who the fuck maintains these machines cuz they are in complete shit condition. I was messing around with the CvS2 machine, and the sticks were loose as hell. The 2P side has mixed buttons, 5 are convex and 1 is concave? WTF is up with that. I went over to Marvel and surprise surprise, the buttons were fucked up there, too. I had to literally slam my fist down on Fierce to get an assist out otherwise it wouldn’t register. I was TK’ing moves maybe with 1/15 success rate. I know how to TK moves, ask Fire because I do it in GG all the time. When I finally DID get the AHVB, when I went to do another one it tagged in Sent. How the fuck did Sent get tagged in when I didn’t even hit a kick button? Fucking shit, whoever runs this arcade really needs to fix up the cabinets.
This is prolly all old news to you guys, but I was in complete shock that the cabinets were THIS BAD. :mad:
if the sticks being loose was the only thing wrong with cvs2, then that’s good condition for Pali…

Actually, I got back in the rocks a few days ago and actually played on Marvel a little bit. The second player controller is pretty much perfect.
On that note, Hiro, give me a call with your new number so we can chill.
first player side on mvc2 has a totally fucked up joystick and buttons that work when they wanna…1st player side on cvs2 does not move in any direction involving right…2nd player on cvs2 and mvc2 both have unreliable buttons [they work most of the time but dont work a decent amount of the time]…in other words…everything SUCKS…theres no way you can have a fair fight in any of the games…very very fuckin :lame:
anyways…since everyone seems to be alive and posting again, how about we come up with a place to meet and play?..

ecc was dope, even for the few hours i was there… I got off work and got to the break late sun. Break steaks pwn, 4 bucks. Bawls is tasty. MSP is beastly. Wigfall vs Mixup was sick, and ortiz is too fucking gay. $15 for Ultimate DVD was hella worth it. Justin Wong isn’t god, but he’s still too fucking good. I think it’s true… I personally know the best slayer and the best anji on the east coast. It has to be official by now. Too fucking good. Wigfall vs. Ricky mirror match was crazy, but Ricky’s still a fag.
