I play on dpad, but Xerlic plays on a sweet import stick. Besides, I’ve been playin GG since forever with pad…so the transistion to stick would be harsh… 
And sorry, Xerlic, only seems to work for full on aznz. I am teh Hybrid Spic (Rican/White-ish), so I’m lucky I know Dong and Albert, these two Korean dudes, or I’d probably be scammed into payin extra. :bluu:

If he’s not down wit goin that early, then I suppose I shall have to take a cab, and due to my recent purchase of Garou: Mark of the Wolves, my supply of money is dwindling, so I hope it doesnt come to a taxi. However, this is an opportunity for GGXX comp that very seldom comes my way, so I’d be willing to moonwalk there while wearing high-heel shoes. If I don’t make it to Palisades somewhere between 3 and 4 pm, you can safely assume I have been shot or stabbed dead.

I’d like to thank Orion and Fire for the great games today. I’m sorry that I had to skip out early. =( It was my aunt’s birthday and my last night home, so my girlfriend wanted to spend time together. Still, it’s good to know that I can get some competition when I’m home. Did Moo ever show up, btw? I was kinda looking forward to playing him…see how the Boston comp is. 
Fire: Great great stuff, dude. I didn’t pull any loop combos out today, sadly. =( Have you been practicing throws or something? There were a couple times when I went to throw you, but you threw me first! Heh, maybe playing me has been a learning experience. 
If you come up to RIT, you gotta let me know. There’s a whole crew of ppl that I usually spar with, so it’s great comp. I want a rematch against your Poti. That round where you perfected my Baiken was VERY embarassing. 
They can also give you better CvS2 and MvC2 comp than I could ever provide.
Orion: Your I-no was pretty nice. Who is your main? You seemed to use a different char with every match, so I couldn’t tell if you played with one char more than the others. Do you usually play with the buttons set to default? I find the default settings for GGXX on a MAS to be kind of awkward and prefer the horseshoe setup, but that’s just me. 
Great games man, I hope to play you again some time. If you’re ever up in Roch, likewise, let me know cuz I’d love to play you again.
BTW, if we ever get together again, can we meet at someone’s house? I don’t mind hosting a bunch of ppl. I do mind paying 6 bucks an hour to play on a PS2. Those prices are such bullshit. :mad:

haha…first off, i apologize for not showing up earlier…i arrived in nyc around 130 and hung around ctf for an hour or so then headed to PA where i missed my bus by 5 friggin minutes…so i ended up playin a bit there while waiting for the next bus…by the time i got home [around 530 or so] i dropped off my shit, said hi to mom, jumped into my car and hauled ass to pali…
i was actually lookin forward to playin some ggxx but i guess ill hafta wait a bit to show you guys my super-elite MAY…hahaha…i actually suck a lot in ggxx but its def the most fun game ive played in a looooooong time…kinda like when mvc2 first came out…hehe…speaking of which, after everyone but fireiswet left, i was getting OWNED by 8 year olds…hahaha…o well…black sentinel saved the day…

6p is invulnerable…TOO GOOD. I’ve gone right thru sooo many of my friend’s “Sacred Edge” attacks with this normal. Also, she has MAD easy 30% dmg combos off her command throw, good ish there. Not to mention, her Dolphin attacks, summoning and riding (She rides dolphins…HAHAHA ), are FRCable, for nice pressure and for some combos in the air. I believe she may have an IAD > land > double jump air combo off of her [4]6hs - FRC - j.HS. She is mad good…I believe some tier changing will be in order when I’m done with her. :lol:

To IAD off of the Dolphin FRC, you gotta Jump Install before you set the dolphin loose. Also, most characters have frames of invulnerability for the 6P. =) There’s a reason that many chars use 6P for anti-air.
Randomly throwing out Dolphins for pressure is generally a bad idea. The dolphins have SHIT priority, so most attacks will go through it. Dolphin != teh Gun Flame.
Everyone has enough frames on their 6P to go thru Charged Stun Edges and the like? Hmmm…
And I didnt suggest random dolphins for pressure. I generally try gettin knockdowns (sweeps, throw, whateva ), then call a dolphin to keep a lil pressure on after that, maybe even an FRC pressure string to build their guard meter (dun know what its called :lol: ). I know a Gun Flame > Dolphin, i would never try to contest Sol’s Gun Flame, especially in a corner, and I think we all know the reason to that. But I’m sure a well placed knuckle sandwich from May’s 6P would go thru a Gun Flame. Mmmm…Knuckle Sandwiches :lol: .

Also, you pwn the shit outta me in MvC2…How in the crap can you be screwin up timing in GGXX? It’s like MvC2, but a little more mind games and about 10 times slower. It’s a buttload easier than MvC2, just relax and sit down to some GGXX, and take a few minutes to learn a char. I’m sure you must’ve done the same thing for Mags, except he was a hell of a lot more than a few minutes in the making.
dolphins own…yea, i know they have no priority but they do come out pretty fast…haha…like i said, we dont know too much about this game yet…my milia is coming along nicely tho…
fireiswet - im taking 2 programming courses up here, one in SML and the other in assembly code…fucking assembly…its so gay…anyways, i have spent some time practicing chars in ggxx and everything i practice goes against years of capcom gaming…take for example the milia relaunch combo…the sj cancel after the 2H and the S-P-S afterwards is TOTALLY weird timing compared to marvel…im used to launch, sj, pause, aircombo…this is launch, pause, sj + S…and then the combo itself is slow as hell…haha…im not complaining…its just really different…and yea, mags is a lifetime learning experience…hahaha…
