The plot itself sounds a bit formulaic:
"On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes-a washed up former pilot and an untested trainee who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. "
I have a feeling that some serious Deus ex Machina shit is going to go down and Iâm sure theyâll tack on some romantic crap between the two pilots, but I donât give a shit. Iâm not going to opening night to see a Shakespearean masterpiece, I just want my visual and auditory cortex to be BLOWN by all the fake Gundamn on fake Godzilla violence!
