It looks so weird cause for some reason I though Gundams were at least half the size of the Jaegers at most.
I think this is the perfect size comparison. It includes known mecha even the death star. Yeah I’m a bit of a mecha geek.

Only mild gripes were: NOT enough robot fights, and Ron Pealmen’s character was just needless. What was the point? Comic Relief?

Few gripes though. While i’m sure much of it is accurate---- Fortress Maximus is NOT that big. As far as city bots go, he is one of the low range bases actually. Metroplex, a TRUE city bot, is supposed to dwarf him. Speaking of which, i don’t think he was in there. Darn.
Same with Unicron. He is’nt full-planet sized, he is more like 1/3rd the size of earth. If i was looking at that vid right, he appeared 2x-3x planet sized.

I NEED THE TOYS OF EVERYTHING IN THIS MOVIE ON MY OFFICE DESK! This movie was the most fun I’ve had in the theaters all year. I had a big ass fucking Kool-Aid smile the entire time. Def seeing it again.
this movie was everything that was great with 80’s cheese (Some Iceman vs Maverick level shit), with really Gundam Robotech influences.
Domon Kashu would be proud, definetly needed the music from that anime and this movie would be the perfect mecha movie of all fucking time.
CG was beautiful, the fights where beautiful.

Saw it by myself in IMAX:3D yesterday morning. I was curious, and I also had some time and pocket money…
It was my FIRST time seeing any thing in IMAX(let alone 3D) and I was not prepared, lol. It was epic.

But to be honest it didn’t have as much violence and gore as I hoped for, hahaha.
After this experience I’m kind of stoked for Elysium(in IMAX-3D) Not sure if I like the premise though.
