That SHRB brings back hella memories back when pimp productions was still in business. But on the real, Tobal was the shit back in the day. Can’t mess with the inputs in that game and that adventure mode is sick.

Only rivaled by TMNT: Tournament Fighters and Gundam Wing: Endless Duel as the best 16 bit console fighter.
Hokuto No Ken
It gets a bad rap because its not exactly balanced and didn’t get as much attention as Arc’s other games. Yes, it broke but its hella fun. I actually sold Marvel 3 to buy this game at my local import shop and don’t regret my decision one bit.

Fun weapons based fighter that has a small scene here on SRK.
Tobal 2
Needs a re-release. Preferably with online play. Its a shame we didn’t get it because Tobal 1 sold crappy and most of the sales were only due to having a FF7 demo. It deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as Virtua Fighter 2 and Tekken 3 in terms of great 90’s 3D fighters. You look at the game today and its still a stunning looking game and one of the best looking on the PS1.
I hear that. I havent been able to touch Z-Gouki though. I didnt have a saturn to play with that character. Man, it’ll be cool if they put SHRB online somehow. that game needs some lovin’
Always fun to find another fan of this one. I liked the anime (hasn’t held up well though on repeat viewings) but the fighter is still bad ass. A real shame Treasure has to make a full-fledged fighter.

Man, why? That game was awful, which is sad because some of the Imperfects’ character design was actually pretty cool, but wasted.

KI was pretty big back in the day, but Bloody Roar got all the way to part 4 so that means someone’s buying that shit.
I liked the clone of Psychic Force (same engine and company I think) based on X/1999 anime for the PSX.
