Your metaphor just sucked. You’re trying to compare rats to people to demean the people living in cities. Sure rats and people live in cities, so do pigeons, dogs and cats. If comparing people to rats to demean was not your intent what was it?
It doesn’t have to be demonstrated, but if you do nothing while others suffer who gives a damn what you have to say. You’re the same kind of person who stands around waiting for someone else to do something. Caring and not doing anything about it, is as bad or worse than being someone who doesn’t care.
So just be honest, admit that you really don’t give a fuck, but you like the view from your high horse.
