Lucifer and Ance are looking pretty nice.

Game looks like it could be fun but I’m completely outta the loop on this one. I’ve never even heard of this series before the game announcement.
I never liked MB’s story but I might look into Umineko because of it’s mystery occult nature.
Huh, kinda weird, the speed of the attacks looks pretty fast, but the movement (running/walking) look really slow, to the point of looking out of place.
It’s like Guilty Gear attacks with Zangief CvS2 running.
The more I see, the more I like. It may be time for me to hit up Square-Plus…
Umineko’s story in general is looking really interesting to a person who knows nothing of it like me so far. I’d play the Visual Novel if I had time in my busy college life schedule, but those drawings are kind of a turn off. :xeye:
I guess it’s either watch the anime, or waste 64653134864513 dollars on the PS3 remake and don’t know what the fuck is going on.

Yeah, but considering only the episode 1 manga is finished and episode 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are all still ongoing (AFAIK) AT THE SAME TIME it’s not really a good idea to recommend it past ep1 to someone that hasn’t read the VN.
Also, I can’t be the only one that wants Erika as secret character am I? I’d love see what they do with her duct tape XD
Yeah but he already said he’s to busy to play/not a fan of the VN art and I can’t really recommend the anime, so…

Just recommend the anime regardless of how much blasphemy it commits just so the guy can get the general idea of the story. (so far)
I really hope they have either unlockable characters or an expansion pack later on for the cast because I’d like to see more characters like Rosa or Shannon
So what anime adaptation would you say has committed more “blasphemy?” Tsukihime’s or Umineko’s?
Oh CODE=BLUE, and thank you for suggesting me to read the manga, I forgot about it but it does seem like the better option. :lol:
Umineko’s biggest sin as an adaption was destroying the relatively complex interplay between the characters. There were definitely some good moments here and there, but the writers didn’t pay any attention to things like the progression of Battler and Beatrice’s interaction, which ended up being hugely important in the answer arcs.
Didn’t they also skip some deaths and red texts? I honestly haven’t seen much of the anime, but I know that they did ruin one of my favorite parts of episode 4 (the beginning).
