for the way that the chars are animated, i feel like there is a possibility that the chars were made using a rotoscope technique
The gameplay video has increaed my hype for this tenfold. Definitely a day one buy for me.

Unless it’s from episode 7 or the yet to be released episode 8 I can’t say I recall hearing it already. I would say no though, every Umineko something has had its own opening (Umineko, Umineko Chiru, the anime, the PS3 release, and now OMK).

How does that make any sense? What, you think all people who bash whatever doujin fighter automatically love SSFIV or something? Why not bash 3S, or MvC2 while you’re at it? Especially considering SSFIV technically gets as much hate, if not moreso, since everybody’s got an opinion on it.

Counter-troll on the merit of the topic. Bashing unrelated topics in some kind of misguided retaliation is fail. As it is, you just come off as salty as hell that whatever game you’re defending isn’t as popular as SSFIV, and probably never will be.

The game looks pretty interesting. In general it’s animated really smoothly. They move a bit strangely, but it may just be me and the fact that it’s different than what I’m used to out of doujin fighters.
It looks like combos in this game are gonna get crazy as all hell.
Battler reminds me of Aoko sooo much, watching him play.
All in all, it looks solid so far. It’s probably gonna be a far cry from dethroning games like Melty Blood and Arcana Heart from my setlist, but it just might earn a spot in the rotation.
Just hit midnight in Japan, they have character pages up for Shannon and Kanon.

The fighting game is based on the visual novel series “Umineko no Naku Koro Ni” created by the same doujin circle.
From my limited knowledge of the source material, I think the fighting game basically says “Everyone can use magic just because”
I was slightly interested because I like Umineko, but that gameplay trailer has me sold.

Amiami started taking orders Nov 22, but it’s already sold out. I would imagine for them to re-open the pre-order slots soon, but I can’t be for certain.
Pre-orders are supposed to ‘officially’ start on November 29 so more websites should carry by then.

SquarePlus.net has been easily my main hook up for Doujin fighter goodness for these last few years. Only a pity that the likes of BBB didn’t actually do their part, I did mine! :lol:
