You need to change your Unicode settings in “Clock, language and region” options in Control Panel, in the “Administrative” section, Change system locale, set to Japanese… and thats it.
Beware that when you change your Unicode your Windows programs will exec everything in “Japanese”, some programs changes to the language and your .txt and anything unicode/ASCII related will look pretty weird.
This also makes Vanguard Princess works by the way…
No no no, you dont need to do that for run the game, is only if you want to read the Japanese characters in the boot menu and config the buttons properly… of course if you know Japanese, like me.
So I installed it… but it says that the application fails to start and reinstalling it may fix it…
Maybe I need to change things to japanese?
I little help here? Maybe a guide or something?
About DirectX there was a window with Beato in it where you put the resolution (There is the option of DirectX)… when it scanned the updates it didn´t find any problem so I guess I´m ok in that…
So what could the problem be? XD
EDIT: DirectX version: DirectX 11
Pretty mixed, im not from the US so i cant say too much about coast to coast netplay but at least i can play with everyone on my country (Chile) without any lag problems using delay 1.
for keyboard champions, alternative to the previous info i reported:
“i’ve found a better solution for keyboard users
just install http://headsoft.com.au/download/pc/VJoySetup.exe
it has option to block keys - wich means that key used for button emulation wouldn’t work as keys
and to make arrow keys working, just have to configure numpad4 for left, numpad8 for up, numpad6 for right, numpad5 for down :)”
Ehhh. The main issue is strange disconnects(not that often for me, but occasionally annoying) and you have to play with 1-3 frame delay(you choose the delay, at least…)
My experience for texas to east/west coast, btw. It has definitely been annoying for certain combos and sometimes the gatling/special cancel windows.
I really really wish there were a visible dizzy meter for this game, given how extending combos with C dash cancels can lead to some serious damage if you get a dizzy to rebuild your touch meter.
