When? Technically though, every character can do it if Beatrice is their partner and they activate the meta world.

You want to hear none of that super spam? Well you can.

When the opponent activates metafield, you can cancel it out for two stocks. It immediately depletes the opponents metafield bar.

Normal tagging out halfs guard bar. Attack touch (offensive/combo touch) does not half the guard bar however.

It’s one of those things that will have to grow on me.

Lol, I might be using Eva now after that vid. And I wonder who are the 2/3 open slots (not sure if one of those is random select or not). Also, I wonder if dodging will be a universal mechanic or just something Ronove can do only.

Ronove only, it’s in his list of commands, just like how supposedly only Beato can float.

EDIT: Looking through the move lists, only 4 characters have mechanic specific to themselves.
-Beatrice floats
-Ronove dodges
-Evatrice air dashes
-Siesta has something by inputting up forward, but I have no clue what it is. (EDIT 2: Oops, didn’t see that Kanon has it too)

The dodge is Ronove’s unique character attribute. Much like Eva has an airdash, Chiester and Kanon have triangle jump, Beatrice has a float, among others.

Oh, that’s a triangle jump, good to know.

EDIT: Just finished watching the 4th video. Oh wow, canceling a cancel? Haha, sounds kinda fun, and I imagine that if both have enough bars you’ll be able to cancel their cancel of your canceling of their cancel of your activation XD

@Code: Well, I was talking about this hypothetical situation if both characters have full meter.

1-You activate the metaworld
2-Your oppponent cancels that
3-You cancel that and activate the metaworld
4-They cancel that AGAIN and negate the activation AGAIN
5-You cancel the cancel AGAIN and activate the metaworld for the 3rd time

you reactivate after a cancel. cancels dont activate metaworld, thus there is nothing to cancel to after

Well after seeing that gameplay video this game looks positively awful.

Edit: I was attempting to look past the animation but the way the pace handles looks really awkward and dumb. Runs that make you move an inch per second with hella fast moves with garbage recovery. What? Like seriously. What?

You’re definitely negating their cancel, it’s not simply reactivating after the cancel, it takes 2 stocks instead of the usual 1 and your meta world bar gets filled to what it was when it just gets completely depleted after your original activation gets canceled. So yeah, I’d say it’s definitely canceling their cancel.
