If HQ was open on Tuesday nights (when I’m free), like it used to, I would totally be there, WITH a laptop so you, me, Miles and anybody else could play ST on MAME, or maybe HDR on 360/PS3 like we used to.
But that’s life. And money comes first.

I don’t have any systems to practice on and I’ve pretty much only played at HQ + long sets at MKP’s house for the lols from time to time. We both use the same weker-dante-virgil team (in case you haven’t noticed).

Playing every character is great, but I’ll bet it against any team in the game because I play the only one that matters better than anyone can play their shit. You know that’s how I choose my shit in every game. High execution, high utility, least possible poor match ups.
I’m not gonna say you haven’t been responsible for some of the gameplay that made Canadian XVSF the best in the world (read up on that guys, it’s true *kurt angle voice) but hearing how my shit doesn’t body or is slow enough to reliably evade on Cabinet when I’ve played all formats smacks lightly of Eau de Fugaze.

Yes, mags-storm are the only ones that are relevant but I’ll be honest, even a slight shift in game speed can be the difference between winning or losing against them in high level play.
I don’t think I’ve ever played on the xvsf setup described above: i.e. lagless monitor, + supergun (which has been emphasized as lag less) and arcade perfect (which would include game speed). Give me a super-gun, a working stick and a lagless monitor and I’ll duplicate anything you can do with mags-storm with the required time and practice. Cuz, well I have a phd in that game man plus my footsies even better than Yangs. But anyways, this debate regarding lag vs lag-free xvsf has been going on for years.w/e, bun it. As far as mvc2, I dunno why you’re bringing that up cause we’re both ass at that game on the world scale. Real talk. But I remember it being kinda similar to our matches in a lot of verses games. Long sets split on a 1:1 ratio when we are using the same team, same order. It would be slightly one sided givin an imbalance of game tech/knowledge/setups or we would both eventually plato against each others’ styles
