I haven’t watched it but from what I’ve read its about a man who tries to find the key to human happiness and does so by experimenting on a woman he holds captive somewhere. The bulk of the movie from what i understand is her overcoming the effects of the experimentation and escaping the institute.

I reminds me of portal except with no portal device and more drugs
