Marvel 3 will be coming out shortly, and that will likely mean that I will be travelling to Montreal a fair deal.
Anyone who’s down with MVC3, we can carpool or whatever. Montreal will have a deep MVC3 scene, and it’s only two hours away.
I expect Ottawa MVC3 to be competitive and I for one will be doing my best to learn this crazy game.
One of the recurrent themes discussed in the SF4 community has been the lack of overall participation from some of the illest OG foundation-game players. This may be by choice, circumstance or whatever, but I think to a certain extent there is a grain of truth in this line of thinking.
I can’t speak for any of the cats with VS series experience but I for one don’t plan on letting that happen with MVC3.
I won’t say I’ma teach y’all to win tournaments… or some crazy shit like that …
cuz I don’t feel I have a deep enough body of knowledge to do so with confidence.
However, I CAN say I will offer what little I know about vs games (movement, matchup-types, mindgames, execution drills etc)to whoever feels that they would benefit from it.
Sharing information and bouncing ideas off each other is key to levelling up, and I’d like to see a hungry, nasty VS community here again.
We are world class at at least one of these games. It’s happened once before. Let’s make that shit happen again y don’t we.

I’m down with Marvel 3 for sure. I wasn’t around for any of the other VS. games, so I will be terrible, but that won’t mean I can’t get good, and with a game people actually like in Ottawa, there can be some fierce competition. I’m gonna try my best to learn the game, and hopefully with other people playing, I (or we) can level up.
