Well everyone’s certainly entitled to their opinion. Even if said opinion is one that I disagree with 1000%
I don’t see myself necessarily as uber-pretentious or some kind of comic snob but I have to admit that I am extremely jaded about comic books. To me the world can come to the brink of extinction so many times before you just stop caring. I guess that’s why I appreciate Civil War more so than most mainstream comics. I can’t say that anything like this has happened before. Unfortunately the cynic in me is wondering how Marvel is going to mess this up.
ever - barracuda is also getting his own mini-series in '07. My fav. MAX punishers are Born, In the Beginning, Up Is Down, Black is White (which is a continuation of In the Beginning) and Mother Russia, which is being continued (in a sense) in the current arc after Barracuda

Even though it wasn’t listed as being released on Marvel’s web site, I was able to pick up Punisher 41. I guess they were trying to make up for the crap that was Punisher War Journal by releasing the actual comic as soon as possible.
As expected another excellent issue. A lot of plot points are resolved in this issue which is nice.
Does anyone think they’ll start up a Ultimate Punisher series? From the way the ultimate marvel team up version of him turned out, I really hope to see him get his own series.
Haven’t picked up any new comics in a while but my comic shop has a file that holds any comics I write down on request. But I do need to buy Stan Lee Meets Dr. Doom/Silver Surfer. Maybe I’ll pick those up tomorrow.
Is Superman Returns worth buying? My friends tell me it isn’t but I’m really interested in seeing it. Despite what they say it looks freaking ill.
I read OMAC project like i was suggested, and it was pretty good.
does all of this dissent within the league all lead to infiite crisis? or is there anything else that keeps this trend going? im not really interested in checking out day of vengeance though…
Yeah. I bought it yesterday myself. I think it’s the best superhero movie. Maybe it isn’t the most entertaining, but I think it is the best. The movie is more about who Superman is and what he represents than just a typical action-based storyline. The filmmakers really nailed the iconic aspect of the character and it’s definitely one of the best Superman stories in years, in any medium.
Yea I’ll agree, BP kicked some major ass once again on Iron Man man that was sweet. Storm and BP is going to kick some major ass once they get involved. My subscription with marvel is finsihed and now im going to keep an eye on BP for a while. I am a bit late on CW though. I purposely wait til all the tie-ins come out at the end of each month. But I may not have anything time reading them anyway since im pretty busy studying my ass in Real estate classes almost daily.
I was tempted to pick up Infinite Crisis TPB and Infinite crisis companion but backed out. Im not too much of a DC person. They have the death superman out again (yes im late but i dont care)

As the list p.gorath gave me on page 5 i’m trying to track down the crisis essential reads and obviously i have to start with crisis on infinite earths (absolute edition) but my comic shop told me it’s out of print so before i buy this can i get confirmation on whether it’s fake or not?
I have CW,frontline, and young avengers+runaways but if i wanted to get all the cw tie ins like spiderman or xmen reads and whatever else they have do i need to have read all the previous non-CW issues? for example to get the xmen CW tie-ins would i need to have read the “normal” xmen issues that came before CW?
And a list of all the tie-ins would be appreciated.
I don’t remember it being a silver slipcase. Weird. Anyway, just get the paperback version. You save money AND if you don’t like it you’ll end up realizing that you saved money.
I called mid town comics and they just got in 6 absolute editions today n are keeping 1 on the side for me until friday n the city is less then an hour drive i can’t wait to get it cuz i love marvel but i’m a huge dc fan.
Thanks for the list and also on the old comic thread everyone was sucking vertigos dick for sandman n i looked it up it sounds really good and it’s great timing that absolute sandman came out although comics are mad expensve so CW n crisis shit should keep me busy for a good while n then i’ll eventually move on to absolute sandman.
BTW precher is amazing the crappy weird art style fits it perfectly and it’s just plain fun to read as well how come no love for the preacher?
