He starts the new JSA series next month and he’s also writing Action Comics as well. And then 52 as well. He’s really not writing much.
I’m not even keeping track of 52, but what the hell, put me in for week 37.

im wondering how civil war is going to be collected. I assume they will have the CW mini tpb and tpb’s of each cw-tie in regular series a la House of M, but what about Illuminati special, Frontline, The Return, the Bendis/Silvestri one-shot, etc? Civil War Comendium perhaps?
man I wish Marvel had some regular series I could latch on to. It seems like they’ve rebooted their main heroes like 30 times in ten years. I feel like if Iron Man were on issue 400 and something I would be picking it up but as of now I dont know wtf is going on whether its orson scott card or warren ellis or whoever
I like what Marvel does with Daredevil and Punisher. They just leave those comics alone and let the creative teams do their thing while everybody else has to put with the House of M, Civil War, World War Hulk crossover garbage where everything is overhyped as some big important storyline but the outcome is the same everytime.
Last time I heard DC talk about collecting 52 in a TPB all they said was “It would be HUGE.” Though they prolly said that so people could buy it weekly… They’ll prolly drop a series of TPBs I’m guessing next year when it’s done.
…Okay fine I’ll leave it up to zephy then but seriously everyone who’s tryin to get in now should have a chance.
P.Gorath- No one said at all when the bet poll first started there was a time limit to it. So don’t try to add that shit now just because the new guys in the poll MIGHT win. Also don’t try to say it’s WAYYY too late when 52 is not even close to being finished yet.

Sano - i sure hope 52 is collected. I heard they weren’t going to do it until it’s over with though. I would think it would be somewhere between 5-8 tpb’s, unless they decide to release it by month and only include 4 issues per trade.
As to Civil War tpb’s the new February solits answers some of the questions. Young Avengers and other titles are getting regular Premiere HC’s of their civil war stuff (boooo) while also solicited is a “Road to Civil War” tpb with some issues of Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, and the Illuminati special

I like Earth-shattering events in comics as much as the next guy but comic companies don’t have to shove them down our throats every year. I can see where matrix is coming from. That said, I’m loving Civil War.:lovin:
Didn’t hear about Spidey wearing the black suit again. I just knew that as of Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man #14, the classic red & blue suit comes back. Woohoo!!
Yeah the Spawn TPBs of late have about 12 issues, DC could probably wrap it up 52 in 4-5 trades if they wanted to keep the number of books down.
Would be nice, especially since they made a mistake in one issue, using the same exact word balloon with the same dialog in two straight panels, GNs would be a good way to correct that. And any other mistakes like that if they do happen. But only one blunder like that in 27 issues so far so it’s no big.

Honestly I don’t think they will be late because DC has their rep riding on it and Joe Quesada will go on some talk show and make fun of them the very next day and rub it in every chance he got. Trust me, he would.
There have been a few instances where a comic didn’t ship on Wednesday when it was supposed to and it came in on Thursday or Friday - there is still a chance for something like that to happen giving us a technical winner, late is late. Still, that in itself is quite rare and I don’t recall of that ever happening with the two big guns DC and Marvel, so if it’s late Wednesday it’s not coming in until the week after or later than that.
Well, anything can happen…
P.S. In all fairness Natural Disastors, Terrorist attacks and World War III don’t count for winning the pool. Personal, professional and economic problems of the DC staff and things of that nature are all good. Damn, I need a lot of therapy… 
Spider-man in black suit???
Looks like Marvel’s trying to cash in on the Spider-Man 3 movie hype by making Spidey wear the black costume in the comics. First organic web shooters, and then black costumes?

Also… Did I actually say that the X-Force #1 would be signed by Rob Liefeld? I don’t remember saying that. Although it’s quite possible I did say in a moment of hyperbole, not expecting anyone to actually care or bother remembering. I could have been high on something.
…Which ISN’T to say that the X-Force #1 DOESN’T have a Liefeld signature… Just, um, don’t expect a certificate of authenticity to accompany the SIGNED comic.
I don’t care if new people want to make predictions just for fun, but I don’t think it’d be fair to all the original people if the new people had a chance for the same prize. Like P.Giddy says, we wouldn’t let someone join a March Madness pool after the Final Four starts. What else can I say? Dude wants his rightful chance for a classic and rare Liefeld comic. He’d probably track me down and slit my throat if I let the new people have a chance.
Maybe the latecomers could have their own 52 Poo!, and the prize could be an issue of Todd McFarlane’s Spawn. Or maybe John Byrne’s NEXT MEN!!!1 Aaaah ha ha ha I am so funny

Also, looks like Denise Mina’s first Hellblazer story is coming out as a TPB- Empathy Is The Enemy. That sounds really good. I think I may hit that up if I have some extra bucks. It’s been a while since I’ve read some Hellblazer stuff.
Seriously, Hellblazer is Vertigo’s flagship title and I’m kind of surprised that no one ever seems to read this. KEANU even starred in the movie!!! Get with the program PEOPLE
