For people that are new to this thread this is a little pool we got going where we guess the week that 52 will ship late. The list had a few more names but since 52 hasn’t been late yet people have been eliminated. The winner (you have to guess the exact week that it will ship late) will recieve X-Force #1 signed by the, ahem… legendary artist who has perfected the form of drawing elbows and ankles - :confused: - Rob Leifeld from Zephyranthes’ own collection.

Okay you know what I’m getting on this pool now and my BET IS…

NO DELAYS at all that’s right folks.

I bet this book won’t get delayed one bit period. We’re half way and no delays have happend yet so I’m confident 52 will be running on schedule through the whole run.

No delays doesn’t count because if there are no delays Zephyranthes has to hang the comic book up on his refrigerator door for, what were the terms, 52 weeks?

If Zephyranthes does win and it ships late week 47 I’ll think of something… I got plenty of comics from the amazing self taught artist Mr. Leifeld who appeared in a Jeans commercial at one point in his illustrious carreer…

I joke around but I’ll still buy every single issue of Onslaught Reborn drawn by him because I want to find out what will happen to Onslaught. Sucks that he’s drawing it though… I remember when I interupted my Wolverine run when he did a stint on it, blah… course you can get a Wolverine comic book fix just about anywhere from the 80s on up… Wolvie appears in lots of funny books…

It’s cool though Sano, imo liedfield is shit so I don’t really care about the comic.

Still though My bet in this poll is No delays shall happen and that’s what I truly believe what will end up for this series…

BTW, anyone here reading the Superman books as of late? Kurt Busiek and Geoff Johns have actually made Superman readable for the first time in nearly a hundred years. Add Carlos Pacheco’s artwork to Superman(Adam Kubert[?] on Action Comics) and it’s all gravy.

Oh, and that Grant Morrison Batman issue sucked. He better cook up something fast and bring the pain because this Batman has been pretty much a sleepy read so far. GIVE US EPIC GRANT!!!

And to everyone posting in this thread: READ DR. STRANGE: THE OATH!!! If you don’t, I’ll cry myself to sleep every night until someone says “Yeah, I’m reading that.”

no way rage is allowed to jump in after the halfway point, come on now.

Finished reading Superman Up, Up & Away. It started out strong but then I felt like it turned into Superman Returns and made me wonder if these issues came out around the same time and they used it as cross promotion. I mean, the characterization of Lex just didnt make any sense coming off of Infinite Crisis. It was like back to two-bit lame villain mode

P.Gorath or anyone else - Reading the Identity Crisis TPB, refresh my memory but is that page where Joker owns all of the members of the Royal Flush Gang one of the new pages they added or was that in the original comic since I don’t remember it?

It was in the original as well. So, the Joker owned up about 6 characters in this series and he had nothing to do with it.

Thank the lord. I couldn’t stand this run. Who will be replacing them? The art was alright though. I still say they need to bring back Geoff Johns on this book. He made the Mirror Master a cokehead! That has to count for something!

Guggenheim is replacing the current Flash writer. I liked what he did to wolverine so I pick up his first flash run and see if I like it.

Eeeh, I’m easy. Rage is gone. So he loses the comic book universe canon right to say ‘I told you so’ but gains the unnoficial non-canon horribly produced 90s comic book live action movie right to say ‘I told you so’ which will be unofficial and not documented on this poll, or something… head hurts…

Flash was one of DC’s best ( if not the best ) books for a long time. It just didn’t get any play because ya know, Batman/Superman or Jim Lee weren’t involved.

First Kolins left and everything was okay because Porter took over and he is solid artist, but then Porter left, some poop artists were doing art and Johns wrote a lackluster “event”

You know who should write the flash ? Grant Morrison. I bet he would do some crazy shit.
