Are those titties being covered by a tightass dress or are they boxing gloves?

Boxing gloves.

Hmm, you may be right. Darwin sure as FUCK is though, or was. I have to snag Deadly Genesis again. Lost my copies.

Definitely. The “Official” list at the wiki is obviously off. Mutants who should be on there without a doubt arent listed, simply because no one mentioned that they are within the pages of the comics. Hell, we need to add Magician, Proteus, and a few others to our list, no doubt.

Well, they way they wrote him, dude is damn near immortal. Didnt his body get “destoyed”, and dude just reformed via vapors?

Just got through POWER reading every fucking Ultimate X-Men comic up to date. Loving every moment of it. And wow, SPOILERS

Also read the Exiles Annual. Haha, whata great issue. Still waiting on #89.

Honestly, they need to lay off Wolverine for a while. It’s gonna be like the shotos of Marvel, where every two bit character has admantium claws and acts like an asshole.

joe mad came back and is on the ultimates 3.

in the current Brubaker Uncanny X-Men run, Vulcan was mentioned as being a omega level due to genetic processing by the Shiar, who amplified his powers.

and if i remember correctly, cykes optic blast can pierce through adamentium. so, yeah, the optic blast is not to be messed with.

as for other omega muties…does this count other dimension characters such as Magnus (son of rogue and magneto from first issue of Exiles) and Nathan Summers (Aoa/Xman)?

if we are only talking about 616, then I think Hellion might have potential.

is gambit omega…i read in wiki his powers are back to original form.

…way to put some space between spoiler tags and spoilers…

Why not. This is “our” listing (tiering, if you will) of the best of the best. Ultimate, 616, whatever. All the realities, etc. I actually planned on devoting a site to this kind of things. This will all be documented material for it.

And Iceman is super broken. Can he be killed, is the question.

LOL, omg. What kept you from just simply not reading after the word “spoilers”? Good grief, learn some self control.

It’s possible now that he’s a Horseman of Apocalypse, but he still hasn’t done anything amazing just yet. Back in his 90s glory days he used to be able to block bullets with his staff and use his power to give him a boost and make him faster/stronger. Me, I blame his prior power downgrade (dude had the lowest Power Rating of all Marvel MVC2 characters, even though Marvel Power Ratings are suspect sometimes…) on Khan absorbing all of his energy in Extreme X-Men - but that’s just my little theory.

During Chuck Austin’s awful run on X-Men he gave Iceman the power to create small Ice figures and move them with his thoughts giving them life. That power hasn’t been explored again but he can in theory create an army of Ice drones to form his own little army, given time. That was one of the only salvagable things from his entire run and no one is using it. But they sure ran with Juggernaut being hella weak… least Juggy’s making a comeback stregnth-wise in Excalibur.

Possibly not Omega but as of late Wolverine can reform his entire body even if he’s reduced to a skeleton. Lol even with Claremont when he was reduced to a drop of blood it took ions in that dimension for him to reform himself - but he reformed his Adamantium Skeleton which makes no sense, but you can always blame that on alternate dimension laws or something…

Originally it was stated that Cyclops wasn’t able to cry because of his powers. This is something that’s been forgotten over the years. First time I saw him cry was during Inferno during Louise Simonson’s legendary X-Factor run. Well there was a hell of a lot of crap happening to him then.

I like Cyclops but I hate his relationship with Emma Frost. It’s just stupid to me, boy scout + bitch = disastor. It would be nice if Cyke had some influence on her but everyone writes her as bitchy as ever. Morrison’s the only one who knew how to write them well as a pair. Whedon comes close but no cigar, if Morrison isn’t writing them together it just seems silly right now. I’d rather he get with Psylocke who used to have the hots for him, but that’s just me. Eh I’m sure Jean will be back…

because for some people post- i dont know - fourth grade, reading a single line of text is a pretty instantaneous action, hence why anywhere on any thread online, you will see

Fixed.

Picked up the 2 disc special edition of Superman Returns Saturday when I was out shopping for food. Watched it Sunday night. Started out rather slow but it picked up after the first 10 minutes or so. I love all the references to the 1978 Superman movie. Brandon Routh made a great Superman/Clark Kent. Kevin Spacey made an excellent Lex Luthor. And the homeage to Action Comics #1 cover? Too freaking good. I liked how it wasn’t all action, though I guess this may have turned some people off to the film, but I enjoyed Superman having to deal with how Lois moved on without him. And when his kid killed dude with the piano, oh that was priceless.

No more complaining about spoilers…

Off to get funny books…

I took a week or two off from checking the thread to reread New X-Men. I was about to make a post about how Cyclops IS the X-Men, and without Cyclops, the X-Men would have no soul. But I guess it’s all right because VSlashy made a pro-Cyclops post.

All we ever needed to know about Scott Summers, from New X-Men #142:

Sexy Stripper: And I know you’re thinking… I know you’re thinking about how good it is… How good it is just to call the shots once in a while… Am I right? Mister X-Man?

Scott Summers: Actually, I was thinking about how weird and sexless and unarousing this is. . . I mean, don’t get me wrong, you look beautiful, it’s just, it’s not real, is it? It’s just your job to create a fantasy. You’re not my girlfriend and all we’re really sharing here is some weird financial transaction which is helping you through college. I know you probably have jeans and a sweater to change into backstage and a boyfriend back home. I can’t fool myself that there’s anything more to this. So you’re just making me feel a little self conscious and embarrassed, to tell the truth.

Sexy Stripper: Wow. You really know how to murder a nice romantic mood, don’t you?

Scott Summers: Yeah. I guess so. I think it might be my mutant power.

Anybody who isn’t reading Cable/Deadpool needs to be. Now. This week’s issue is THAT good.

Actually, I want it to be the other way around. Cyclops for years has been a boring stick in the mud. Even when they killed him and brought him back, they barely did anything with him. The affair was literally the best thing to happen to him, since much like Rogue and Gambit, Scott and Jean were boring as hell when they were together, but stronger seperately.

I just finnished re-reading Hush, and i was wondering if there are any other stories that are that well written and maybe well illustrated as well.

thank god i’ve been up on it

There’s one person who enjoyed Hush.
