I couldnt even seen the 3rd strike finals cause so many people were crowded around the screen. And that in 3rd strike after not playing for a year I have really bad ground game. I jump too much it seems. Played some AC but only have X2 and couldnt figure out who has changed the least.
Also did anyone notice someone yelling loudly around the Power Stone 2 or twinkle star sprites game with a rubix cube in his hand? Or if you were outside after 2 am a guy telling the same story about him getting lost with this fugly girl that slipped something in his drink that made him start tripping?

I wasn’t there so much for the tournament, anyway, as probably no one was. I remembered from last year that the competition wasn’t that great. But I thought since I was at Otakon, I might as well play.
Man, what’s this about Otakon having a 3s tournament?
I went to Otakon in I think 2005 and the gameroom was shit. Shoulda been called X-Boxcon, granted you can bring your own stick but still, it was sickening the miniscule variety of stuff available in the hugest gameroom I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even play 3s then cause I didn’t have a stick and the X-Box has the 2nd worse controller ever made. Course they only had ONE system with A3, and it was the fuckin Dreamcast, which is the worst controller btw. I dunno, I was mad, lol.
But hey they had a DOA2 cabinet!! :rolleyes:
Looks like somebody stepped their game up to actually have some fighting game tourneys, the year I went I think it was all DDR/Smash/Halo bullshit, and literally 200+ Xboxes and 10 PS2s, half of which were T5. Then again I was only there for Saturday that year so maybe I missed something, but altogether I thought it didn’t live up to the hype.
Anyway, I hope everyone is having fun and spending all their money
