UMvC3 starts around 1 and depending on how long that takes is when AE will start…call a buddy a head of time. If enough people will be late i’ll hold the start time to allow more players to participate.
PEOPLE BETTER NOT USE THIS AS AN EXCUSE TO BE LATE!
I’m not sure if Ill get a response since it appears most everyone posts in a facebook group, but I’m in town for a few days and was wondering if anything usually goes down on Saturday nights? From Austin and would like to get in some outside comp in ssfiv or umvc3 if I can. Thanks to anyone who responds.
Edit: also realize that it will be christmas eve, so yeah…
is this the closest place to Beverly Hill’s/Pine Ridge??? I currently live in Ohio, but might be moving to that area soon and am trying to figure out which thread is the closest
If you are still in town by Thursday, Nestor Ramirez might be hosting in Avalon Park (a bit east of UCF). Lemme know if you’re interested and I’ll PM his contact info/hosting rules (mostly about parking).
xHer: Mapquest says Orlando is closest to Pine Ridge (~1hr 40 min via the Turnpike), but not by much. Tampa is about equidistant. Hope your Internet is good if you end up coming down here.
Yo, this is DancingFighterG. Hello Orlando scene, the SuperCon 2K Series of the National Video Game Association (NVGA) will be hosting the game room for the MegaCon Sci-Fi convention in February. We would love your support in attending this game room and showing what Florida gaming is about. Check out the thread here: [Feb 17, 2012] SuperCon 2K Series - MegaCon Sci-Fi Convention Game Room (Orlando, FL)
I went home to Melbourne, Florida this week and found that all of the fighting game cabinets of any kind have been removed from the entire 321 area (or so it seems). Seriously, if this is just a coincidence, it’s a scary one.
Hey guys how’s it going guys. I live in the Winter Park area on Goldenrod and was wondering if there are any KOF XIII and Street Fighter players around. I was hoping to either go over somewhere for some casuals or even host casuals of my own. I don’t get adequate practice on these games because for one, NONE of my roommates play fighters, and two, KOF especially has bad online on PS3. I ride bike everywhere so I can’t go too far, but if you wanna set something up let me know.
someone told me that there are Thursday casuals in Avalon Park? I pass by avalon park on my way home every thursday, I’d love to get in on this if thats possible.
Nestor Ramirez and Torrin Fields (housemates) host casuals at their house in Avalon Park most Thursday nights. Join that group and look for posts from either of those two on Thursday afternoons. These are open sessions and anyone is invited, just respect the rules the host lays down (especially as pertains to parking, Nestor’s house gets a LOT of traffic and we can’t clog up the street. Mind your trash as well.). Main games are SF4, Marvel, and KOF, but any game is welcome that people can provide a setup for.
