If that’s the case, you will want Alex Jebailey’s attention on this. He promotes like crazy and get you the head count you want. Unless you just want a small tournamanent as a testing ground for your first tournament.

Then you are shooting way too and impossibly high for your first ever event. I know you guys have good intentions but when nobody’s ever heard of you getting even 20-30 people is a near impossible task because tournaments aren’t about the prizes or what’s offered, it’s about trust and you have to start small. Majority of monthlies or tourneys in Orlando other than mine get between 30-50 people at most. After over 20 tournaments or so I’ve done in Orlando they now since about June this year get about 150-200. I’d love to help but I have my own events to plan so you’re on your own, Best of luck and just always be transparent and honest with the players and don’t rip anyone off and you’ll succeed and build from there.

[]Start Small and make it cheap: $10+$10 doesn’t sound like much, but if you’re a new TO, you might need to make it ($5 + $10). Be happy if you break even on the tournament.
[]Make sure you’re not stepping on other tournament dates. That could impact your turnout if you’re the newer or lesser known TO

Thank u kneedrawp. I double checked and there were no central Florida events during dec 10th, only south Florida and elsewhere. I appreciate your feedback and I will work with our venue on price si we can possibly do $5 fees.
Hey Alex. Thanks for your input. Just to let you know, our goal is not to be the premiere fight club here in Orlando, I believe you have earned that title. Our goal is to provide entertainment and prizes for casual/amateur players in fighting, sports, and fps tournaments. I think there is a way to work together and network the Orlando gaming community. Lets chat someday when you have some time!

Just thought I’d post in this thread to affirm to those without Facebook that I am still alive, still in the scene, and would very much like you to play KOF 13. Doesn’t matter what your main game is. You can find something to enjoy in KOF 13. Expect a largely derp-free experience punctuated by Vapor Cannons, Buster Wolves, and Mai Shiranui’s breasts. This game is the worthy successor to CvS2.
We should be done around 9 or 10, we’ll close down at 11 for sure!
