Holy shit… so back to my conquest for ‘From C To Shining C’ — I got 1000bp semi-easily with Blanka, going 16w-17L. And now I’m working on Gen… 4 words: L M A & O. This shit is ridiculous difficult using Gen. My Player Points are a thing of the past :lol: Has Orlando ever had a Gen player? cue crickets His normals are so bizarre. Very tricky character, but I can’t say that I hate playing as him.
Just some strategy I’ve been thinking about for AE. I want to share with you all to gather some input. Japan has pretty much gave the S-tier character to Fei-long. I think it’s vital to find a counter for this character being that he’ll be the most played in tournaments (imo). I was watching a video of Claw really giving Fie-long some fits to the point I see the match-up as 5-5. So, I’m thinking about picking up Claw specifically for the Fie-long match-up. Here is why I think Claw/Fie-long is 5-5:
- He can punish 1st (if not at maximum range), 2nd, and 3rd hits of the rekkas with crouching mp.
- Claw’s neutral jump is a great counter to rekkas and Chicken Wing.
- Any cross-up attempt by Fie-long can be counter with ex flip kick or ex wall dive.
- Claw forces Fie-long in the corner because of cr.mk > cr. lp out poking Fei’s cr.lp > rekkas.
- Claw roll is safe on block.
The cons of this match-up is Fei-long damage output is greater than Claw’s, and Fei-Long can overcome a lot of Claw ground tactics with jumping forward. No charge Claw = free jump-in for the most part. Meter management is key to this match-up. You need at least 1 bar at all times.
a whiffed or blocked flip kick is going to result in a nice hefty cl.HP xx rekkas combo which means you need to be very sure that your ex’s are going to hit.
I personally don’t think that’s the best counter to fei i think it’ll still be 6/4 against claw. the damage difference is just way too much and any thing you mess up is going to result in a massive loss of life and eventually your claw and or mask thereby making the match up even worse.

I signed up for my badge and games just now, MvC3, AH3, HDR and Super. My flight is booked already, I leave Thursday at 8:30 get there around 10. Then Monday I fly out around 7 am to be here before work.
Haven’t booked a hotel yet but most likely getting one alone cause a girl may be joining me.
