So I finally decided to step into the ring to get my C To Shining C achievement. Starting with Blanka. Won my first 5 games with him, even beating a 14,000bp Ryu (I sent him a nice message of lol@shotos — I await a fun response). Then I lost like 6 in a row. Haha, this achievement is gonna take ages, but it’s gonna be a lot of fun.

Weed being illegal is stupid anyways why I can’t put a natural herb in my body but I can put all types of chemicals and toxins from alcohol in my body is beyond me.
On the topic of marijuana, medicinal or otherwise, although I’ve never smoked it in my life, I sure as fuck love the smell of it. 
If any of you inquire as to why I’ve abstained, I’ll just be generic and simply state asthmatic reasons.
Boggles the mind every time. I see a commercial of some new drug with endless side-effects that is OTC or prescribed by a doctor, but scientific studies shows marijuana to have more beneficial effects than bad ones, yet, illegal? I can understand the argument you don’t want to see a nation of overdoes junkies, but the same people making that argument should be a member of Truth, MADD, and the war on drugs. Sorry, I’m ranting. I log off now.
For the average person it is easier to grow weed plants than it is growing tobacco plants. Therefore it is difficult for the U.S. to tax. which is why it remains illegal. Think of the untaxed profits we would make if it were legal even though the value might drop.The war on drugs is a delicate subject the Mexican pres has commented that the U.S. legalize drugs to cut into the profits of the Mexican Cartels but to America that would be admitting defeat so the war on drugs continues…
Going back to the ‘From C To Shining C’ achievement, here’s a pretty entertaining thread about it… gives you a lot of different views on it, and it’s only made me wanna do it even more. I’ve already thrown out any care about my total Player Points, since my goal at one point was to get to 4,000, but I just couldn’t surpass 3,960 heh.
Off-topic (Sorry!), but any get-togethers happening this week? I’m looking for AH3, BB:CS, or SFIV (PS3) competition.

Has any body here ever tried those USB Sega controllers? The D-pad on my Nubytech controller is starting to get crappy. The one I had previously, the plastic on the D pad cracked and broke entirely on the inside… and the 2 MadCatz fight pads I had for PS3 both malfunctioned about a month after I purchased them. For some reason my one X-Box MadCatz pad is still holding up alright… but I really need a reliable pad for PS3 and it seems Sega and Sony are the only companies capable of making good controllers.

Thursday nights we usually play at Jibbajabba’s over in Avalon park and i usually do something on saturday starting in the afternoon. Googlemyname will do stuff on sunday evenings.

Now back on topic. I’m all for legalizing marijuana. RemzRR said it right. Its not about protecting the health of Americans, its about how breaking their pocket. Without a proper way of taxing it, the government wont make any money on it, thus it will remain illegal. Please, don’t let that stop you from smoking it.
