Their inaction to have a revolution of the doctrine allows for the suffering felt by many in those countries.

Seriously, though, even if guns do make me uncomfortable, I do get that people can genuinely use guns for self-defense. I’m not disputing that even though I’ve told you several times before I’m anti-gun, which is why I didn’t say I wanted handguns gone when I pointed out to Wasted that it’s easy to find people in America who against “even” those. It’s just don’t get how assault weapons are, at the very least, pragmatic for the aforementioned self-defense.
Similarly, I still don’t think that the American people really “win” against the American military because of guns though, particularly assault weapons, due to the aforementioned polarization and fear and hate, being a Debbie Downer or not. Historically, military forces in general have historically been weak to “insurgency” type attacks, which is what they’d be up against. So I can see why they would say that they think they would lose even without the potential emotional attachment conflicts and other reservations from attacking (some) one’s own–it’s just that I don’t think “the American people”, as a whole, would “win”. Of course, that’s pretty much always the case in civil wars, so that’s not surprising.
I mean, if nothing else, then this farce of election cycle this year proves that people can’t even agree, as always, what “revolution” actually “is”, much less how to actually “make America great (again)”. All we have is vague and bullshit pandering on both sides, but, again, that’s politics and humanity for you. I really would like to be less negative about this, but humanity’s general nature just gives me no reason to be positive about this same song and dance accomplishing anything at all, especially if nothing was done when a bunch of white children were gunned down. After all, it’s not like America as a whole is super behind LGBTWhatever people even with all the strides they’ve made recently, especially given it’s still in the midst of push back from “Gay Marriage”/“Equal Marriage”/“Equal Suffering” on various state levels.
Regardless, it’s not like guns are going anywhere time soon despite many of the pro-gun people seeming to think that any time you think up any type of restriction, however effective or not it would actually be. Even if you somehow managed to some way legally ban and then confiscate all them en masse, it would still fail. Just look at the failure of Prohibition back in the 1920s. This whole aftermath is already a farce beyond the people who have legitimate reason to grieve because they actually lost someone they knew.

A rifle is more powerful and accurate, and harder to legally and financially obtain, than the handguns that the common criminals will have. They’re clearly not something for the street, but for homes and open properties/farms/land, maybe.

There are some people around the internet who are stating that this whole thing was a hoax just from the elite to bring up gun control. It’s a wild guess with no basis but i just wanted to bring this up here. I have to be honest though that after the whole Middle East thing; sometimes, i do feel/think that these incidents are set up by some elite american politician(s) just to push some ulterior motives. Nah, nothing would really change in the already chosen narrative on both sides if it, pardon the pun, came out that the guy was actually gay, StoneDrum; I mean, provided you could even prove it posthumously, especially given his father seems pretty oblivious as fuck as if he isn’t outright lying about certain things–possibly both. Sure of some guy whom could it be verified that he had sex with coming out into public view in a time where they would be heavily scrutinized or something, I don’t really see that happening.
If anything, then it just makes the political divisions even worse, if only slightly. “The Left” would say how him being gay makes it extra tragic due to it being a terrible example of the dangers of “internalized homophobia” and other internalized marginalization, especially while automatic weapons are still available to kill oh-so many people oh-so quickly, while still conveniently ignoring how the vast majority of such things come from even non-radical elements of monotheistic religions like Islam; meanwhile, the overly PC parts of it would be caught up in complaining about things like “bi erasure” and other bitchy nit-picking that helps no one. “The Right” would just use it as more fuel for the fire to show both just how desperate and how insidious ISIS/DASH clearly is if they’re recruiting people that they claim to hate in their bid destroy America; meanwhile, the jingoistic, oft-racist parts of it would just see him being not heterosexual as more proof how evil he is/was.
Nothing of actual importance would really change, especially since he would hardly be the first Arabic & Muslim person to be gay (or bi), much less the first to violently implode due to the seeming, self-loathing incongruity generated by that (culture). A significant of “the gay community” would continue to be racist as fuck or believe that bi-people don’t exist or whatever. Just give things time to go back to the clusterfuck that is unfortunately “normal”.

It’s certainly possible, I suppose. But is it likely given how often the government and other “elites” fuck up on other, more basic things? No. It’s up to you what you believe ultimately, though if you do believe that, then comes to the actual question: What would you do about it?

I never understood the appeal to own an ar besides the aesthetics. The unit I was part of had m16a2 and they were mostly shit. I had better chance of using it as a melee weapon than its intended purpose. I’m not sure how the state of the military is now, as far as the conditions of the weapons, but of its anything close to what I had, owning anything else would be better.
I’m all for the 2nd amendment, but having a working ar is excessive for civilian use. Disagree all you guys want, its just my 2 cents
