Slight Update -
Went down to Borderlands yesterday but the manager wasn’t in. I’ll hit it up again next time I’m in that neck of the woods. I’m posting though because an alternative did come to mind.
If worse comes to absolute worse, Borderlands does have a back room that they rent out. I don’t think it’s very much (20$ for the night tops, I think?) which I imagine wouldn’t be a problem split between folks. Only downside is if we had weekly or otherwise often meetings it could start to add up. Anyway, let’s hope it doesn’t come to that and I can get a talk in with the manager.
I’d definitely perfer playing in the main gaming area, where we can hopefully draw more peeps in with interest for fighters. 
Update: I’m running a 48-hour trial of Live until my actual card gets here. If you see me online, I’m probably available for some matches. Sadly, I suck epic from lack of practice. Ugh. Four months without my Street Fiytah Fo is far too long.
Sounds good. At very worst, paying for space isn’t too bad. I mean, that’s what people do when they go play at arcades essentially. I’m just glad I’m not throwing down 1 dollar a game to play on an arcade machine.

Alright, just got back from Borderlands, and I have met with success!!!
Issac (the general manager dood) is cool with us using the general gaming room for fighting games on Sundays and Tuesdays, assuming that no pre-planned events are going on during said times. (On the condition we’re bringing our own equipment and whatnot) He’d rather we not have a regular schedule going quite yet. (Since there are other events planned and whatnot) But depending on what kind of attendance we get and how successful it is, it could become a regular planned thing!
Ok guys, hardest part done! Since it seems he wants me to run it by him for the first few times, when should our first attempted meet be? Remember that we’re trying to stick with Tuesdays + Sundays here (I myself perferring Sundays). Anyway, let’s hear your input!
Another thing to note: Us gaming here would be additional customers walking through the store possibly buying. I think he’s also hoping this would tie into the fighter tournaments that Borderlands hosts every so often. I think it’d be kinda cool to see these events all tie together.
Either day is great for me, have school until about 4 pm on tues so i guess if i had to chose i would go with sunday. What time would this be held at?

This is news is beyond sweet. I just got a TE stick for Christmas too, so I’m super stoked. I get home from work on Tuesdays around 6:30pm, so Sundays would probably be best for me, or if there’s a time we can work out for Tuesday nights, I’m totally up for that. I’m also winning to learn new fighters like BlazBlue.
