updated the roster, i cut out the bios so it could stay current. if there is interest in bringing them back we can work something out but now we have some more room in the second post.

So as far as I understand GK seems receptive to having fight nights more than once a month. However Ray cannot and should not be expected to have to bring his shit every week.
If someone else can provide SF4 and people can bring their sticks, I can bring my 360. If this seems like something we can consistently do, maybe we can work out having fight nights more often.

There are some good points in these videos. They are very basic but when your foundation sucks the advanced things aren’t going to matter.
There are people who fall into this “things you shouldn’t be doing list” that they mention in here. Highly recommended.

-Man those are AWESOME for a guy like me who has been out of the game and does little research but is a passionate player, they make the key points clear and accessible just the way I like. These will definately help root me in SF4 more and let go of my old habits and ideas. Standing, or having good root, is the foundation of Chen style Tai Chi as well as many other martial arts. Knowing this is a victory in itself. If you can’t stand properly, how can you be strong when it comes to anything dependent on standing?

Well I totally agree, but I also know my garage is totally out of the idea after today. Had a pipe burst and I wound up spending the whole day working on that. Was gonna hit up OMNE or Pandas but that pretty much wound up not happening.
But I’m going to try to make it to Jeromies on fridays (except this friday since I’ll be at T6 nationals and I still have room for 3 other people or so who ever wants to go with and all I’d really ask is help with the hotel and maybe like a few bucks for gas)
But aside from that I need to level up my Freegat and my Rufus
i only play sagat so i could give you some pointers if we played some matches.
(that is, if i could find anything to help with. ask holyrobot whats up with my sagat, he will let you know where im at.)
i dont really know to much about rufus but i might be able to throw out some ideas.
maybe holyrobot or kwyjibo123 will have some ideas as far as location goes for some running casuals.
ill keep my ears open if i hear of anything, but as of right now i dont really know of anything.
As far as i know none of us can host at our residences so we are going to have to think outside the box. Maybe ask a local business that you frequent, somebody you know who has an empty space to use, or something along those lines.
I may have an idea for something but the odds of it working out are EXTREMLY low, but it doesnt hurt to ask.

Yeah, Ronnicle is legit. I usually get straight up raped by his Sagat (I think my win rate was like 20 percent last time we played) but if there’s one matchup that everyone could use some good exp against, it’s Sagat and Ronnicle can represent.
I talked to my wife about it and my place is out of the question lol. I’ll try to see if there’s somewhere in town that we could host matches at. It’d be cool to get a friendly rivalry going on between Salem and Portland, if for no other reason than to have some drive to really get serious about leveling up our game.
id be down to come to Salem if you guys got a tourney together, fliers for a tounrey might also get a few guys you dont know yet to come and get introduced. at least if you put some up around game stores or something shrug
