New SSFIV DLC characters. Probably just a new fancy trailer with different art panel filters just like how SSFIV trailer suddenly had this cross hatching pencil stencil effect. Maybe this new one is more ink and water color based art filter trailer with Rolento and co!
SF1 with the new engine would be brilliant but Ryu’s got a red headband there like said before.
Im not saying it is SF5 but just because “it would piss off fans” isnt the best reason to dismiss it. He did mention the next SF game would come out much quicker this time. He also said this feeling reminds me of the UK Press Event October 2007. I recall that being when he first showed an in-game shot of SF4.
He’s got the trailer ready. Im guessing its not extra DLC costumes haha. We’ll see what happens. This speculation is fun, given that it lives up to the hype. I fear for Ono that it doesnt live up to the hype.
I completely agree on the EX point. Despite contrary beliefs, I actually really enjoyed the EX series and would love for it to be rejuvenated (although I don’t think it will as Capcom do not have the rights to the characters in that game). I believe that the series (along with SF3) were not such economical successes in comparison to SF2 and 4 because they had TOO MANY new characters that people didn’t familiarise with. Maybe a 3D version of SF 1 can work as most people are now familiar with a lot of the SF1 characters such as Gen, Birdie, Adon etc. I cant recall a good 3D fighter with projectiles…
Well “piss fans off” was a quick explanation to what I meant. I don’t think that announcing SF5 so soon after releasing SSF4 will be a good idea, especially as SSF4 sales are still strong. Maybe they will announce it, I don’t know but we can speculate all day and be completely off the mark lol. Just praying that it’s something interesting and not DLC or anything like that.
Only thing that fits the bill is Namco VS Capcom, so I’m going with that.

My analysis of the Clues. Ono-san is really good at giving clues to another clue. Stating that, I think that the controllers mean that the game that would probably hint to what’s in production is on 2 consoles (PS3/Xbox) I wanted to take note in the Macbook being in the picture too not sure if it’s related. The pic of Ryu to me means that it’s based off a “SF” game, or it’s either that Ryu was in the game (leaning on cross-overs like Pocket fighter, Puzzle Fighter, MvC, CvS), or the obvious that Ryu is going to be in the upcoming release, and then if you notice doesn’t that look like Evil Ryu? Could Evil Ryu pop up in SSFIV or could it be that they are continuing Alpha ( I just thought about that as Im typing)? The water mark in the other picture isn’t really clear to me either, could that symbolize the style of the game, and how it’s going to look? That’s all I got so far more break down to come…

This. He said once we heard about it, we’d want to buy it. The only thing that could make me want to do that is SF5/CvS3/DS. And I doubt it’s either of the last two.
Somebody said it’s SSF4 for PC, but I doubt that. This seems much bigger than that.
Now what’s interesting about you saying that is. I was wondering could it be SSFIV for Mac? My reason behind this is the fact that he took the picture of the Mac with the two pads on it.

If Ono-san isn’t presenting a riddle by giving clues to the game, then maybe I should go look up what a riddle is; but I’m sure this is a riddle in a shape or fashion. That being said the riddle is “what game am I going to make next” ?
I forgot Namco made “SC”. Still you have think about projectiles. “SF” is a projectile type game. What projectiles are in “SC”?
Not everyone has a projectile… Gief, alex, adon, rufus etc. A soul calibre character would be kinda like playing a billy kane, eagle, vega etc
