Also, some people should seriously calm the fuck down. We’re just speculating what it could be based on the rumors, there’s no need to go beserk just because some people believe the rumors.
Anemone has a point though, in that the rumors are inconsistent.
However, you could also look at them as if they’re just more info being leaked.
Whatever it is there’s a few things we know for sure
It has Ryu
It will be on Xbox360 and PS3
It seems to have SF4’s ink style.
So the rumor that one of the games is Capcom vs Namco using the SF4 engine could be true, but it also could just mean a DLC update.
But I’d hardly think that Ono would try to hype us for a DLC pack, and IF it’s a DLC pack with Rolento and co(based on the avatars that popped up on PS Online) then why would he show Ryu at all?
Why not show a vague shot of Rolento’s boot? Or a pair of glasses from Nash?
In any case, in 4 more days we’ll know the truth.
If it’s “bigger than SFIV” then it could be a new fighting game.
I hope it’s a new fighting game, Capcom hasn’t done something like that in years.
And I mean an internationally released game with new style, chraracters etc.
Perhaps they believe it’s possible with SFIV creating new popularity and all, otherwise it would be Japan-only as usual.

I agree with you for the most part, but just wanted to pick this out.
A COMPANY can work on more than 1 project at once, yes, but a specific development team cannot. Harada’s team is already said to be working on a game, which would mean that they could not do NvC. Now given the game they’re currently working on could be NvC, but T7 has already been announced so that’s more likely the one currently being developed.
Anyways, as everyone said, it’s just a rumor stop getting so excited. We’ll find out on Saturday.
Personally I’m more excited for the Arc Systems announcement, crossing my fingers for a new Guilty Gear.

We already know that the game they are working on is Tekken 7. They already annoucned that game was in production. We know for a fact that the team is working on the game. No way in hell they’d take time off of Tekken 7 for this.

A Namco Vs Capcom fighting game just wouldn’t make sense. From what I’ve read he said that this new game would be:
-Bigger than SSFIV
-His ‘life work’
-It’ll be released sometime at this time next year
First of all, how the f*** would a NvC be his ‘life work’? The only thing that makes it seem like it COULD be NvC is where he says it’s bigger than SSFIV. Ono said in a interview a few months ago saying a new DarkStalkers would be at least 2 years. The only games I see possible are:
Street Fighter Alpha 3 HD Remix (Hope!)
DarkStalkers Collection (It would be his ‘life work’ so maybe)
Street Fighter Alpha 4 (PLEEEEEEEEEEASE!)
Street Fighter Vs DarkStalkers (Eh, maybe?)
Street Fighter 3rd Strike HD Remix (:nono:)
A few days ago, Ono released a picture on his twitter and it showed something that looked like a Young Ryu OR Evil Ryu (Alpha) and last week they released 3 Alpha 3 Avatars on PSN consisting of Rolento, R.Mika, and Charlie. Strange isn’t it? I was on eventhub last night reading of what everyone thought it would be and the speculation is insane! I heard that people thought it was a Street Fighter 1 HD Remix (
) a Nintendo Vs Capcom, 3S HD Remix, etc. And then in that one picture with Ryu Ono posted everyone said that on the right side was either: Sagat, Demitri, Jin, R.Mika, and Rolento. I also am not understanding how people could think this DLC for SSFIV. He said it’s a BRAND NEW Game! I’m seriously hoping for any of the one’s I’ve listed above, except for 3S HDR (I don’t like 3S too much) I can’t wait, I need SFA3 HDR, SFA4 or a new DarkStalkers!:tup:

Well of course there is already a DS collection on PS2. And I think old SF remakes are chanceless and only dreams for core fans.
