Did he really say for sure it’s not Darkstalkers? If so I have no clue what it could be
yes he twippled it (i guess japanese twitter)
don’t stone me but im glad it’s not darkstalkers because i never got into it, CvS3 would be dope but i don’t think it is ono’s life work…so i think (hope) it’s something with street fighrer as the "main act"
i just love street fighter fuck all ya’ll :bgrin:
Yes but WHERE is it said it isn’t Darkstalkers? That’s the thing. We’ve only got a bit on CVG saying it isn’t but that too could be wrong. :\
Ono’s Riddle
He never said it wasn’t Darkstalkers. At Evo, he said it wasn’t the game they were yelling, and Eventhubs made the assumption, Oh, he must have heard the name Darkstalkers. That’s a really poor assumption to make.
i bet you smell like falcons
Capcom, make a game with ALL your characters sprites, make the best and definitive mugen.
I certainly heard a few people yell Darkstalkers, and I was sitting at home watching the stream.
I want to see one more Capcom fighter made using sprites before I die.
i want something not street fighter
As much as I want this too, good luck with hoping. As it’s pretty obvious now Capcom wants to be the “cool casual gaming company”. KoF XIII is down the street though.
Same here. Unless it’s CvS related (which it’s obviously most likely not). But SF is Capcom’s cashcow just like how Metal Gear Solid is Konami’s cashcow. And since Capcom’s all in favor for the casuals…
I dont get why they just dont hire an animation company to create sprites ESPECIALLY now that we’re in the HD age. Could you imagine Hayao Miyazaki presents Street Fighter? or Production I.G. presents Street Fighter? It doesnt seem like such a huge undertaking when you think about all the frames of animation they make to create one of their movies…
i recall a post in capcom unity back then about how someone pitched for the idea of a hadouken being just 1 button
As long as its not Udon comics.
Ono is an incredible troll.
Clearly ono is very excited about localizing Melty Blood; so those of you who haven’t yet can play a real game.
yes, YES!!
What the hell do sprites have to do with hardcore vs casual?
A lot actually, since the casual audience considers sprites, for the most part, “outdated”.
