talking about speed.
your post didnt exist when i typed that.
yup. he said “don’t want to put a hard timetable on it but if all goes according to plan we should submit some time in December.”
he also said for sure that they’re not adding anything else, strictly testing now. I know because I asked if they could give me an ignore list so I don’t run into ufcgym. lol. not happening of course.
Did they finally fix the EX Input Drop? I’ll email them in a bit.
yeah, it’s too bad the patch isn’t going to make you not suck
…
I’m going to grape you.
I had 2 new errors I took pictures of
“Black Lines - windowblinds” on OE and a Replay that ran out and said Press A go back to Main menu.
Also have a good question for them.
Disregard, I’m a tool.

You really don’t want International guys coming in and no casual station at all to play on, you know?
I also asked about the replay bug I keep getting, which screwed up a few of my matches last night. I might copy the details I wrote down later. I forgot if we have another thread around here reporting all the glitches and if that is in there.
Watching it on my own TV, at least it really gives you a great look at that wind speed changing picking up and dying down for Makoto’s flowing karate gi.
That’s odd indeed. A lot of emulators that allow you to record replays actually have similar problems to this (For example, ZSNES). I have no clue what causes this on a programming level but with emulators, generally the longer you record the more likely it is to occur, so I’m guessing this glitch has never happened in a quick match?
The only replay related glitch I’ve ever had is red parries occasionally showing up as blue and vice versa. Which is extremely minor.
Game is more speed on OE than arcade’s version, nothing subjective here.
One of the worse issue if you play on arcade or course.
Sure. Can you prove it beside saying “try and you’ll see yourself”?
So far, tests show no difference in game speed.
blows my mind that game speed varies. I hope one day there’s a concrete explanation and reasoning for it. like I honestly believe ps2 is faster than , OE, which is a tad faster than arcade. Wonder if it combines both button input lag + frame rate that the game runs. I remember buk or bas telling me that game speed for cvs2 varies even on arcade lol.
Yuuki. How’s Hawaii?? Do you still play over there?
Yes i heard that too the game is more speed on OE version but i can’t know if it’s real or not since there is no evidence…
this is also something that confuses me. i don’t think it’s necessarily faster but more less lenient on cancellation window. i remember some years ago playing 3S only on fba with friends and sometimes on ggpo and i never had any problems with oro’s bnb chicken combo. then i go to Denjin Arcade (RIP) and it’s just not coming out. turns out i was canceling too fast and had to slow down my inputs for it to work. nothing concrete either but that’s the impression i got whenever i played on cps3.
i’m guessing the frame data is the exact same as the arcade version in 3so (maybe not if it’s based on the DC version but i don’t really know). both have an input delay of 4fr correct? both run at 60fps. and something is up with doing EX moves. it’s not every time but it’s there.
I still can’t believe that there’s nobody with both a cabinet and a PS3/Xbox that they could even just show a video of holding forward on both controllers and see if there’s a difference in just walk speed… Or just have them both jump at the same time and see if one de-synch’s - similar to the PS3 vs Xbox comparison done a few years ago, where PS3 is like 1/600th of a second slower or something stupid like that. Took like 12 minutes for it to be off by 1 frame - and if you haven’t guessed: People still complained.
Fuck perfection, I still rock that PS1 Alpha 3 port.
hmm, how do we do an experiment to test input parsing on cps3 vs 3soe? i don’t know much about how that works. like what are some techniques? polling? event handlers? callbacks? if one platform does polling whereas another does callbacks, for example, that could be one explanation for difference in feel, especially if the windows between the different points in an input series differ.
