what are you using to plink the s.hk? according to frame data f.mk has a 5 frame advantage on hit, and the s.hk comes out in 5 frames. This is a one frame link? Maybe my naivete is getting the best of me. Someone care to clarify?
Roundhouse is 4 frames.
From the frame data I have, the first active hit isn’t until the 5th frame, or so I assumed. the first 4 are start up, aren’t they?
They way frame data works is if a move is 4 frame start up it really means the first active frame is on 4 and there are 3 start up frames. They do it like this so there is easier math when calculating stuff like if something is punishable by this or that.
Is there a jab jab sweep combo like Rog? Or a combo into his sweep? The only other thing I have to say is even though I’m playing very successfully with Dudley it’s extremely difficult to start combos off of cr.short instead of Jab…
No, there is no combo into his sweep. The closest thing is cr.lk -> cr.lp xx s.lp -> s.hp.
Cr.lk -> cr.lp is a two frame link, it just takes practice. No worse than Balrog comboing off a cr.lk.
the f.mk and the jab have about the same amount of range. Have you tried it with that?
Also, I’m pretty sure Dudley can’t combo into his Sweep or his c.mk [I avoid the c.mk like the plague]

I’m not trying to make a personal attack/trying to be a grammar/spelling Nazi, but here you would want to say “albeit with difficulty.” Albeit is a word in and of itself.
Combo w/ 3 bars (works anywhere on screen):
forward MK > st. RH > EX MGB > DU (1’st hit) > FADC > DU
390 dmg / 605 stun
That’s 3 bars isn’t it.

I found an interesting reset (yes, RESET!!) today. EX SSB in the corner, FADC, RH (which is a reset). If you cancel the RH into a MK ducking, you keep them in the corner. If you do a RH ducking, you cross them up. At three EX bars it’s pretty costly, but it’s a nice option when you don’t have ultra.
Hello yall discovered what I think do be dudleys max damage ultra and super combos:
j.hp, cr.hp, s.hk, mp jet upper, fadc, ducking straight, corkscrew cross ->590 damage
j.hp, cr.hp, s.hk, mp jet upper, super ->611 damage
both worked on ryu so I imagine it works on almost everyone
Wouldn’t Jet upper FADC cr.hk do more damage than the straight?

because you would only get 5 hits of the ultra
c.hk/duck straight both do 100 damage, but you always get 6 hits of the ultra after duck straight
I’m new to duds but I think its a really great ultra for shoto types. In training mode I set up Ryu doing ex fireballs at full screen and blocking between them. If you are full screen length and dash forward once and ultra the moment he releases the ex you punish him with Dudley U1. I guess that is the max range. It wouldn’t work at that distance if he did a slower fireball but maybe you could duck under it and then punish. I’m not sure. I didn’t test that. But I’d say make it a good habit to do a dash forward and buffer the Ultra motion when you are more than half a screen distance from a shoto. If they fireball you will land your ultra. Looks sick aswell!

Does the opening post have f+mk confused with f+hk?
found a lil combo ive been using now, s.mp,s.mp,s,hk (depends on character works on deejay so far)into w/e or just go with s.mp, s.hk, havent really seen it posted on here unless i didnt check up on it or if its been found out already
