Oh, and to get 5 hits off the Ultra vs SOME characters, it is not dependent on when you do the cr.HK, youhave to delay the Ultra 2 and walk forward a bit. It is very easy to land against Balrog for example.

Does Ducking Upper stand the character up on hit? If not, shouldn’t you go for a crouch jab after the FADC just to be sure you’ll land it?

I’m pretty sure it forces stand.

And cr LK > cr LP > s HK x EX MGB > Duck Upper (1 hit) > FADC > Duck Straight > whatever ender is a lot easier than a sHK > Duck Upper > FADC > sLP or cr LP IN MY OPINION for the same result.

It does less damage. Leaves you a full screen distance away. And looks less classy

Can you guys tell me what Dudley’s best counter hit combos are? I’m starting to realize that forward + mp stuffs a lot from certain characters. I know you can hit HK after you counterhit with it too. Just wonder what else is there you can combo after counter hit.

st./cr. LP which leads into BnBs, but if you got good timing and spacing is right, st. HK best one for max dmg BnBs

on Counter Hit you can link st. FP (6 frames iirc) which is a one frame link so anything that fast or slower could be linked.

It does do less damage, 41 less dmg.
More or less same landing spot measuring from Dudley in corner.
Dudley is always classy.

I dunno, I was thinking about grounded duck upper FADC uses and is sounds like it would be ideal to do if you punish a fireball with duck upper and want to make hurt.

Isn’t the Duck Upper FADC jab a 1 frame link?

Yes it’s a 1 frame link, but it’s easier to land than you think. The only problem with ducking upper is that its range isn’t as good as ducking straight’s for punishing fireballs, so you’re not going to get that opportunity from the max distance.

That combo is awesome. I’ve been practicing it a lot recently. I love it cause after the FADC Duck straight it is a lot easier to end it with U2. Not to mention it carries em a good distance across the screen.

You shouldn’t end either of these combos with Corkscrew Cross unless you are sure it’s going to kill them. These cause the damage for an ultra ender to scale like crazy.

lol yeh that Ultra is doing about 50 dmg by the end of that combo

I tend to do it off cr.rh. cr.rh > duck upper FADC duck straight U2

Well yeah, if I was against a wall I wouldn’t need an FADC

You would, as you can’t juggle after Ducking Upper 2nd hit unless it is Super/Ultra.

Pretty sure he meant first hit of ducking upper then FADC

In the corner he would still need to FADC

I’ll hit up training mode later and check the damage and # of hits from sHK xx EX MGB > Duck Upper xx FADC > Duck Straight > U2

Right now, it just seems like an easy way (compared to landing MK duck straight) to get the most hits out of U2.
