One, Two, The End! Dudley Combo Thread **Check first post before posting!**

wow after testing some of these combos in training mode it changed the way i play Dudley completely

Hey, I was wondering if someone could test the damage this combo does? My execution is failing me right now…

On Seth:

j.HP, c.HP, s.HK, EX MGB, cr.RH (stun) j.HP, c.HP, s.HK, Ducking Upper, FADC, c.lp (x2), s.HK, MP Jet Upper, FADC, cr.RH, cr.RH, U2

Yes it’s a 5 meter combo because you fill that last bar before the second FADC comes around. I have done this combo in 2 separate parts but I haven’t been able to get the whole thing put together yet to see what the end damage is.

EDIT: well its 681…just can’t catch a break getting to 700.

That’s the one I did more than two weeks ago, but can’t seem to hit higher no matter what different setups I’ve tried. But I’m thinking that there could be a setup for a Focus Attack with EX SSB but I don’t know if it’s even possible, I will take the time to try it later in training, because I think there is a way but it’s very, very difficult.

The only benefit I can see for Marn’s inclusion of the Target combo in that long ass combo of his is the option of resets and mix ups by not finishing the combo.

And instead of st.LP you can use cr.LP which hits everyone and is also 3 frames.

Yeah I watched yours and was hoping replacing the EX MGB, cr.RH, U2 with jet upper, FADC, cr.RH x2, U2 would do the extra damage but scaling absolutely kills Dudley :wasted:

The combos are scattered about over this 22 page thread. Can we get the OP updated?

What do you want updated? I’m not putting anything that doesn’t do optimum damage for the amount of meter.

i agree. i like the way its organiseed. ONly way i can see newer ones being added is for more damaging character specific ones.

after the first ex mgb, if you do mp mgb it will do more damage than dash straight and still stun seth. if you whiff 2 or 3 lp jet uppers you will have an extra bar, letting you do ducking upper fadc, c.lp x2, s.rh xx ducking upper fadc (instead of ex mgb), c.lp, s.rh xx lp jet upper, ultra. That should push you over the 700 mark, but I haven’t had the time to try it out. If you find the c.lp link after ducking upper fadc difficult, switch to s.lp as it comes out faster and a more forgiving link.

Gotcha, when I get on later this evening, I’ll try that out, and I thought duck straight does more than mp MGB… that’s wierd. I guess it’s because of the damage scaling or the added hits? Anyways, yeah when I tried to combo the cr.lk into s.hk, it’s hard, not really hard, but it’s sort of hard so I will just try to go for the cr.lp. On that video, I only whiffed 2 Jet Uppers, but when I finished my combo, I noticed I could’ve whiffed one more to get 1 more meter, so Ill attempt this later.

I tried asking this in the beginner’s thread but got no response. I was hoping if anyone here could tell me the timing of landing Dudley’s down+fierce kick to continue his combos? I’ve tried doing it when they literally fall on the ground and even a bit earlier but it never hits the opponent?

Any tips?

You can only juggle with crouching Heavy Kick after an EX Machine Gun Blow, another crouching Heavy Kick, or a Jet Upper that you FADC out of.

It’s a really slow move. You have to catch them when they’re still in the air. For EX MGB -> cr.hk there’s literally no waiting in between the two moves, do the cr.hk immediately.

Hmmm, well adding the mp MGB to my combo I was able to do 691…Only need to squeeze out 9 more damage!

I don’t understand why people do a Lv3 FA off a stun. The FA scaling is bad, why not go for a j. HP f. MK blah blah?

But yeah with Dudley you basically should always take advantage of the fact that j.hp does 120 damage in stun combos.

yeh, j.HP > f+MK > st.HK xx whatever is the best stun punish

For the 700 damage combo start it with a meaty counterhit f.hp instead of a j.hp. That should get you over by more than 10.

Alternatively drop one of the s.lp’s after the ducking upper FADC. Scaling makes it do negative damage. Switch it out for s.mp maybe?

Edit: So I figured out that by the lp’s you’re down to 10% anyways so adding on extra little stuff is actually good. But yeah the s.mp should do more damage still.
