How much does Comcast suck for just internet in terms of customer service? I have Uverse right now, and I get around 5.7 Mb Down/ .7 Mb up. That’s the most I can get in my area, and the connection picks random times at night to just blink out and then come back on. No tech’s been able to fully fix it yet. About the only reason I haven’t switched to Comcast (only other option in my area) yet is that it would cost too much right now.
Kind of sucks when you literally have no choice for internet besides two companies who don’t care about quality service. In suburban northern Atlanta, my parents had to choose between Comcast and AT&T for internet. No Verizon Fios despite living in an rich ass neighborhood.
Huh. Mine has actually improved since last year. Weird.
Note that I’m on time warner. They bought out new wave a few years ago yet their server still says new wave.
If I was you, I just give up on internet and become a hermit. I hate both companies.
Comast has some of the worst customer service in the country. Around the Baltimore area Comcast do not take care of there cable boxes.
here is the comcast cable box near my house. Note the electric tape, trash bag and neighbor with illegal cable hook-up.
That box been busted for years now. Pretty much if Comcast do not have a subscriber in that neighborhood they let the box fall a part.
Everyone else in the neighborhood switched to Fios or go with a Dish.
I don’t live with them but yeah, can’t even watch 2 minute youtube clips if more than one device is connected. Everytime I visit them it’s like I’m back on dial-up internet. Atlanta has some seriously sorry internet… in addition to sorry infrastructure overall
You can’t offer any less than Zero, and if they could Comcast would figure out how.
This isn’t the only cable box that busted up.
If it was not for the snow I go out tomorrow and take some snap shots.
Every Cable box with in 2 miles of my home are in a state of disrepair.
Some with notices from the local electric utility provider BGE (Baltimore Gas and Electric) part of Constellation Energy has notices posted that Comcast needs to fix these.
If they will not even service their own equipment how I supposed to expect anything as a costumer.
When i was 11 my parents canceled there cable because one day out of the blue Comcast though they can charge us for some 600% of the normal monthly bill for no good reason.
He’s with Bell Canada and seems to get a 25mbps download speed and a 10mbps upload speed, plus he said that he has no cap which is ($30 extra per month with Bell I believe? Unless he has a bundle).
