Shanks seems to be extremely extremely strong sense nobody wanted any parts with his crew. I found it funny auger wanted to trade shots with Yasoop. He must not know who he is messing with.Blackbeard didnt want none nor did his crew. For some reason I see his crew becoming filled with folks for fodder . I see him doing that to overwhelm and cheat against his enemies. I wonder did he kill Capone and steal his fruit

Shanks imo really dont want the title of P.K he seems like he rather take the chance and let one of these kids try and get it. Shanks probably could waltz right into RAFTEL if he truly wanted to probably.He believes sternly in destiny its not his destiny to be PK its the new gens.
Shanks could’ve easily become Pirate king already, Whitebeard never wanted that title IIRC he just wanted a family of pirates which he got eventually. And I think Blackbeard knows about haki already, hence why the first time he met Luffy, he didn’t believe he was worth 30 million, does he have the ability to use haki is another question, I think he believes that he doesnt need haki because of his Yomi Yomi powers that can nullify DF powers as he pleases. Too bad he dont know that Luffy’s haki > All.

There’s a reason why Blackbeard ran away in the face of Shanks, he’s not an ailing Yonkou and he’s a swordsman only second to Mihawk. Think about it.
Considering that Shanks is one of the few who know the region where Raftel is (seeing he was a member of Roger’s ship) his goal is probably to help usher the New Era, not to conquer. What’s amazing is how 2 out of 4 of the highest level pirates have no will to be Kaizoku. Kaidou is probably the most “pirate-y” out of the lot and I can’t wait to see him [again].
Also Blackbeard is more than aware of Haki, he even mentioned how Luffy’s Haki has improved in their second meeting. Rayleigh mentioned that some people are mroe apt at certain types of Haki so Blackbeard might be more attuned to Color of Observation than other types.
i think its pretty clear that bb will be the end boss of the pirates (the marines might have a different one though). once he finally controls wb powers and hes alreadty got the most dangerous other fruit, once he perfect his own haki i doubt anybody will be able to face him that easily. also mihawk didnt seem like the strongest swordfighter either, that dude with the moustache from wb crew seemed as strong as him (the old best swordsmen?). also shanks is up there in strength, but theres still many who are as strong as him even in the marines. people like sengoku and garp can hold him down, and the admirals aint no joke. also that old marine guy who cut of his own legs needed to be stopped by both garp and sen so even if hes not fighting now hes still a big boss. also nobody seen what hes truly capable of but i think dragon is probably the strongest person in op since that he became a wanted man. even the likes of wb and shanks probably would fall against him. the reason we dont see anything about him is probably cause hes fucking op.
