^Mihawk is currently ranked as number one, and Vista couldn’t duplicate any feat Mihawk did in the war. He’s not in the same league at all.
I just don’t see Mihawk touching Shanks at all.
Well its pretty much agreed that shanks has no absolute intention of conquering the grand line or becoming PK. I agree that he just wants to usher the new era and see what these so called “super novas” are capable of ( aside from Luffy that is).
Well I know he’s aware of the haki but can he actually use a type of haki in battle? Haoshoku haki is out of the question for blackbeard. 
Mihawk is the strongest swordsman, Vista aint even on on Mihawks level by a long shot.
Im sorry but any man who can end a war with only words, is strong in physical and an will/ambition , marine admirals cant fuck with shanks.
We dont know enough about dragon yet, just because the marines labeled him as the most wanted man in the world doesnt mean he’s the strongest in all of OP, hell he aint even a pirate he’s just a revolutionary who defies the government.
The whole marineford battle.Mihawk was untouched.He dueled Vista and didnt get a single mark on him.That says something out of all the people fighting everybody got injured except him and Boa Hancock.Dude walked through a battle with no harm done to him at all.Now thats a feat within itself.He also did the strongest attack we ever seen from miles away. Just because he is a shicibukai doesn’t make him below a yonkou.Dude could just have title because he is bored and likes the additional title he has to his name.
The Shanks/Blackbeard feud is probably going to be the deciding factor on how Luffy is going to handle Blackbeard. If Blackbeard beats Shanks, Luffy will probably just KO him and thats it. If Blackbeard somehow kills Shanks, then that’ll fuel Luffy enough to kill Blackbeard.
And my top 3 swordsmen in OP are Mihawk, Zoro, Shanks.
I wonder if Luffy does indeed have the will to kill somebody.
Teach has great ambition, but the means by which he carries out his dreams prevent him from having any real ambition hance no* Color of the Conqueror*. I believe he has haki, because he was able to sense it in Luffy at a point where Luffy displayed no physical manifestation of it. It shows that he at least has a heightened level of Observation.
I hope Akainu will push him over that edge.
It’s interesting that Zoro has killed more than anyone else on the crew, because he’s the only person who’s actually killed people.
weird i could have sworn mihawk was giving that other sword dude mad props and in the fight neither of them got touched. in fact they faced each other and neither was hurt or even touched, how does that make mihawk > other dude?
also dragon wouldnt have had such a huge bounty on his head if he didnt possers any power. people with no power no matter how dangerous are dealt with in op, they just cant fuck with dragon. that says a whole lot. a person that defies themand whos even taking forts taken by the marines back from them.

Mihawk wasnt even going at 25% of his strength vs Vista, that was a “warm up” for Mihawk.
Question how the hell would he kill him, Luffy doest use a sword nor does he have any ability that can actually kill a person, maybe he’ll just beat Akainu to death with haki imbued lvl 3 vulcanization? Or he might just throw his ass in the water.

Mihawk hasn’t been serious because he’s had no reason to be. Vista is strong swordsman compared to the many swordsmen (like Zoro) that might exist, but comparing him to a man who casually cuts mile-wide glacier in half… yeah…
Beat him until an inch of his life, then continue a few more inches. Don’t stop pummeling with haki Gigant Elephant Gun even when unconscious.
That bastard Akainu can take some damage though. He took a few Quake attacks and still came back, stupid Logia resilience.
I don’t think half of the Shichibukai took the war seriously at all. They had to be there, but really didn’t have much interest.
Mihawk wanted to test Luffy and obviously witness the whole event, but I don’t think he would really break a sweat if he didn’t have to. Doflamingo hardly did shit but stand around laughing at people, same with Moriah. They took their shots here and there, like with Oars, but the extent of their participation was small. Kuma is mindless at this point.
Hancock, Croc and Jinbe put in the most effort because they were supporting Luffy. I don’t think any of the Shichibukai really cared what happened to the Marines in this war. Granted Croc and Jinbe are no longer Shichibukai though.
True, Mihawk has been a show off in cutting stuff up, but that doesn’t mean Vista isn’t at least capable of similar feats. Granted he doesn’t have one of the strongest swords in the world and obviously isn’t gunning for the strongest swordsman position but you can’t just write dude off. The fact is, Mihawk himself acknowledge Vista as being a swordsman of note and unlike everyone else that raised a weapon against him, Vista was not dominated in there brief encounter which goes to show potentially he is near Mihawk’s level but not capable of reaching it.
Either way, at this point if it was Vista vs Zoro, I’d take Vista since the manga still hopefully has ways to go. End of the line Zoro has it but straight up minus any plot armor, no sir.
