I want a 2D One Piece fighting game though, none of that awkward 3D cinematic crap, just good stylish sprites and lots of flair.

I rather liked this chapter, though I wasn’t expecting Hodi and Decken to go straight for Neptune for some reason. I suppose it makes complete sense. It’s really rare to see villains be competent in a lot of manga, even though I should be used to it in One Piece by now.

I really liked the ending picture of Zoro’s introduction in color too. Laughed pretty hard at again noticing that the parrot in the image before that is totally clawing at his eyes by accident.

BTW, anybody else noticed the spike implants Hodi has around his wrists. If they’re made out of coral, Oda has really done his research!

I would want to see Shanks’ blocking animation.

He’d block everything lazily and with a smile, probably with a bottle of sake. I’d imagine it’d be like a mix of Slayer’s block animation and Baiken’s block animation, but more relaxed and less serious respectively.

Wow alot of fighting techniques in OP are meant for fighting games. Soru could be used as a way to like narrowly avoid moves and get out the way. Tekkai is advanced guard/parry. Geppou can be used for like air dashes. Life Return/X factor like power up.A great way to balance logias out sense they would be extremely strong. Would be to add seastone to the game. You can pick seastone to either add to your punches or your kicks. You can use seastone as an assist projectile or as an equipment to slow down devil fruit users ala Viewtiful joe’s slow mo hyper .But there is a limit on how much you can equip or use it per match. Oh my god oda please read this stuff

Gamewise, unfortunately, OP seems attached to Bandai Namco, who in the last decade have fallen hard in their title selection across the board. You will see One Piece in a fighting game here and there but they are mainly Smash Bros style party action affairs. I guess it is partially because of the power set of the characters and demographic.
