I’ll echo the same sentiment. As awesome and imaginative and fun as One Piece is, Berserk is indeed the greatest manga/comic book ever. It’s on another level in characters/storytelling/atmosphere. Most people who hate anime but read Berserk will even agree.

Kentaro Miura is eccentric and at the only thing hurting Berserk is the pace at which it’s released. 6-8 chapters a year is torture for Berserk fans. Imagine if OP was being released at 8 chapters a year…

But like someone said, it’s not a fair comparison because they’re two different genre aimed at different audiences.

OP is easily the best Shonen manga ever.

I like Beserk a lot but OP is still my favorite followed by HnK and JoJos. I like the crazy looking characters and the unique origionality Oda brings. There are a few times where I feel like I am are tearing up when I read OP, where Beserk makes me feel angry. Mostly because there is only one new chapter every two months.

1. Is Sanji really in a critical state from a nose bleed? Oda is funny but I wouldn’t have imagined something this silly being canon.

2. Luffy is officially broken tier. With his newfound haki powers most of the standard enemies are pushovers. I’m waiting for him to actually be challenged.

3. Can’t wait to see what happened to Jinbe and for the mysteries of fishman island to unfold.
