If you remember akainu got hit bit haki attacks by the likes of Vista and a few others, and they still went right through him. It is only when Shanks attacked him that an attack directly connected with him.
So it can be concluded that they’re varying degrees of haki in respect to how powerful both haki users are. So even then, they’re probably only a handful of New World haki users that could actually do something against Kizaru.

well smoker got hit with haki against boa, he may have decided to look it up and see what he can do against it.
Haki is basically will power, so people of different levels of willpower will have different strengths of haki. Marco and vista while knowing how to use haki didn’t have the strength of haki that say whitebeard had. So their haki attacks would have less affect. On top of that Akainu probably also used haki to strengthen his defenses so his haki partially nullfied vista and marco’s haki powered attacks.
I guess my thing is - as I’ve said previously, with the curent ‘haki revolution’ we are going thru, Luffy’s DF just became ridiculous as it allows him to sprad his haki in many many ways more than other DF users could hope to, and that in the long run, Luffy wil lbe able to ‘punch’ the three admirals, and resist the effects. :shrug:

I could see that. I mean look at the radical change he went through in a relatively short amount of time while he trained under Garp. Before that he was a short pudgy little dork.
Now if he continued that type of training, backed by his new resolve to get to Luffy’s level during the two year gap then he has the potential to be a true bad ass.
So the first 5 sagas were only the fist half of the one piece story, so that means we have a potential 10 more years of greatness to live through. Funny how I smiled upon hearing 10 more years of one piece but frowned upon hearing 10 more years of bleach. Which currently running manga do y’all think is better than one piece at this point.
easy. there are no mangas *currently running that even comes close to onepiece. If it weren’t for OP, I would be manga/anime free. Fuck Naruto.
I frowned at the fact that I wast best buy and they only had 4 OP dvds compared to the 8 of bleach or naruto 
i really dont read much manga but naruto is on its end game and bleach has lost its luster…anything that could beat it has either ended or been cancelled.
hunter x hunter was nice, but that ish is dunce right now. Berserk would be tAwesome, but that writer is dunce for decade.
I honestly think no manga out right now is as captivating as One Piece. It makes me feel like a kid again.
Fixed it for you. There are lots of manga on par and some even better than OP, but they’re not the same genre as OP. In the shounen genre, OP is king, followed by DB/DBZ, then maybe HxH. Most of the rest in that genre are easily passable.
what would you recommend then Beta (mangas better than OP)?
It’s kind of funny to think that if I had a kid right now, he could grow up with One Piece for the next 10 years. What a perfect way to each my child the ways of the world- honor, valor, willpower, perversion, haki.
Berserk, for one. The mangaka is a slapshit, but you can’t deny how good Berserk is compared to most other manga. I’ll list more a little later.
Yeah, as much as I like OP, Berserk remains in the number 1 position for me. Everything about that manga is just… epic and I rarely use that world to describe anything.
I just wish that it came out on a weekly basis, but that would be like expecting Da Vinci to mass produce Mona Lisa quality masterpieces. Oh and the author needs to get his video game habit under control, too.
I don’t know if it’s fair to compare Berserk and OP since they are in completely different genres as far as I’m concerned.
