I’m actually curious about the ‘next villains strength’…theres been this build up to how much they’ve grown up/gotten stronger - so are they going to whoop-ass, or be reduced back to what they were compared to the competition, where they won, but barely.

IMO the big 4 Luffy,Zoro,Sanji,and Franky. will find some more folks who can go toe to toe with them. its been 2 years and alot of shit has gone down so people have got stronger because the comp is stronger. Its no longer about Luffy having poor matchups against characters who are higher in him on the totem pool but slip up and get beat. Its about Luffy going up against Pirates who are probably his equal and can go toe to toe with him and eat his shots and get up and dish it right back.

No doubt Franky is stronger than Chopper, but as strong as the big three? Nah, son.
I dunno man, he was about to take Kuma by himself when he got back to the boat at shabondy. (before he knew what Kuma’s real intentions were)
I say Franky is around the tier where Usopp is. He’s not “holy shit thats too much” tier like the big 3 but he can hold his own against some really strong people.

Franky was strong before, but his strength is beyond superhuman now, he’s definitely the 4th strongest.*
*Were-Chopper probably exceeds him though.
We’re talking purely physical strength, then yeah, Franky is easily the fourth-strongest not counting Roids/Kaiju Chopper.
The thing about Franky, though, is that he’s also the only person on the crew that runs or, at least, ran on fuel. So it’s easier for him to straight up run out of “juice” rather than simply getting tired, ignoring that and fighting anyway. He’s yet to even mention the word “cola” since he’s been back, but we probably get to see what he’s powered by before this arc is over.
That said, if we’re talking about fourth most dangerous person, I’d have to say Robin once again. Hell, the only reason she isn’t hella broken is because she has only roughly the strength only a normal human would have (in addition to never really training and feeling pain). If she had even something as simple as like double-boost in strength, she’d probably fucking rape people (harder), even (some) giants considering the size of her constructs. (In addition to all that, she’s probably the only other person on the crew who’s probably willing to kill besides Zoro or, at least, has horrible enough history with the government to be absolutely ruthless/vindicate towards most of them. See: Spandam.)
Well the straw hats are about to be in new world now and the only way for a pirate to reach the new world is to:
-Go from your blue
-Reach the red line
-Sail up reverse mountain and down twin cape
-Traverse half way across the world through the first half of the grand line, paradise, until you reach other other end of the red line
-Go under the red line through fishman island until you reach the new world
If you think about it that’s a lot of stuff to go through just to reach the new world. Pirate just can’t go through mariejoles from their blue directly into the new world, that’s reserved for the world government and it’s affiliates. So any pirate in the new world absolutely has to be strong in order to have gotten that far. That’s something to think about when contemplating the challenges that await the straw hats despite their two year training.
On an unrelated note, how on Earth does a pirate leave the grand line after entering it without passing the calm belts?
But don’t forget, there are random pirates and people who are born in the New World as well, so there are still a few jobbers out there.
They’re probably on another level from Grand Line jobbers though, and overall the New World is most likely a lot more ruthless and filled with “Crocodiles.”
I just noticed that we haven’t seen Chopper’s humanoid form yet. Considering the size of his ‘deer’ and ‘puffball’ forms, I wouldn’t be surprised if his human form is the same size as Franky.
I always wondered could Robin give a person more muscles since she can make eyes .
I hope the New World doesn’t end up like HnK’s Asura(Land of Greatest fighters and motherland of all martial arts) and sucks ass.
Yeah, I’m still a bit unsure of One Piece’s world’s geography even if I expect that Oda actually has a consistent complete map up somewhere (that he can’t really show because of Raftel and such).
Considering that she can’t make objects inside of people (due to lack of space), the most she could do is probably create muscles on an object in order to squick someone out without risking getting stabbed in the eye and temporarily blinded.
New World is gonna be pretty messed up. Nothing is what it seems out there. I can’t wait to see Wano and whatever Africa is. I just can’t wait at all. its like going on an adventure.
