According to the one piece op "According to Trafalgar Law, Kaido is known as the āstrongest creature in the worldā."
I cannot wait to see the other Yonko considering they are probably each stronger than the Admirals.
Theres no way to no for sure but I donāt think heās the type to have the strongest force. WB is a family man and Shanks is super friendly but big mama and Kaido seem more like slave masters.
Edit: Read some more and he does care about his men.
It was also stated by the Gorosei that he is one of the few people capable of stopping Blackbeard.
So yeah heās probably the strongest person alive atm. Then Iād say Shanks and a tossup between Big Mama and BB.
What Iām interested in seeing is there crews. The whitebeard pirates were actually disappointing other than Jozu, Ace and Marco so Iām hoping Shanksā crew has more memorable people and Big Mama looks like she has some pretty powerful crewmates.
Granted this happened at least a decade ago and Shanks is on another level now. But considering that even 10 years ago Shanks was capable of dueling with āThe Worldās Strongest Swordsmanā and already made a name for himself, Teach getting the upper hand and scarring him in a fair fight is quite impressive.
Blackbeard by himself has shown remarkable physical strength and an inhuman tolerance to pain and injury. I donāt think Jesus Burgess would follow him just because he had a nifty ability.
My biggest issue with Teach is what he had said to Whitebeard during Marineford. Something along the lines of āS-stop it. Old Man, stop it! Iām your son, arenāt I? Are you really going to kill me?!ā.
That is some absolute bitchmade nonsense coming from a man who carries the middle initial of D.
Being a tad scared/frightened about getting hit by a powerful attack is one thing, but straight up begging and going against your own resolve is a no-no.
No, it was stated by Law that Kaido was the strongest creature in the world. Shanks did warn Whitebeard about Teach, and how sending Ace after him was a bad idea.
And we still donāt know how Shanks got that scar from Teach. It seems to be a very emotional/touchy subject of discussion though.
This was never stated.
The Gorosei mentioned that the only other people who could potentially take out Teach were the other Yonko and Marco + the remaining Whitebeard Pirates.
Anyways, itās really hard to make any sort of power conclusion within the Yonko since we just donāt know enough. However, what we do know is that Teach became a Yonko during the 2 year timeskip (which indicates that he has grown in strength immensely) and that he has been gathering/collecting rare DFs.
Heās the only person in recorded OP history to have ever possessed more than 1 DF power at once (as stated by the Gorosei).
Additionally, he is a one of the men of D. Which is a huge deal. And while he is not entirely like the others, he does possess the traditional superhuman strength/endurance, heavily believes in dreams, etc.
Donāt sleep on Teach. Heās not as weak as you seem to think.
Pretty much, aside from legion of strong guys that would die for him, he held the title Worldās Strongest Man BEFORE Gol D. Roger came on the scene and it really didnāt seem like anyone since Roger came close to taking it from him since even when being shown ravaged by time/old age. Blackbeard just knew enough to know that Whitebeard couldnāt get around like he used to and the art of cheap shots after the opponent has been wounded. He needed the conflict to get Whitebeard wounded because even with his fruit he had doubts he could survive a straight up conflict with Whitebeard above 50%.
Probably why he and his group was slumming it along the weaker side of the Grand Line, before he became a Shichibukai.
Now however, with a stronger crew and power set, he can hang with the other Emperors and crush everyone else that comes his way.
BB is an underrated master of prep time, he spent 20 some odd years with WB just so he can get his mitts on that particular devil fruit, but that just turned out to be one part of his master plan. He may come off as a reckless, impulsive dullard (He is a D. after all), but thereās obviously a method to his madness and I donāt think anyone, not even the reader knows what his end game is.
I like teach. Itās hard to really despise him.
Heās laid back and full of life, yet when itās money time, heās just as conniving as Doflamingo or ruthless like Akainu
And who canāt appreciate a guy who knows heās outmatched, so he calls in his boys, and goes to work with his pistols.
My only beef with BB is how he shotup a half dead white beard with his crew disrespectfully. Like of all the most disrespectful shit this motherfuuā¦
Iām just hoping he has a painful as fuck death like WB.
Blackbeard doesnāt care about being respectful. He only means to further benefit himself/his plans. Though, he does seem to care about his crew members to a certain extent.
Even when fighting an almost-dead Whitebeard he was still scared shit-less of him.
Remember what Whitebeard exclaimed before fighting Teach? āMarco! Stay out of this!!!ā
Imagine how things would have turned out if someone such as Marco, Vista, Jozu, etc interfered. The only one of Blackbeardās crew members that I could see standing a chance against those three is Shiliew.
But no, they didnāt interfere. Blackbeard couldnāt even deal with an almost-dead Whitebeard (which in itself is just a true testament to Whitebeardās strength) so he opted to call in his entire crew.
So bitchmade.
I mean, even Saul who is arguably the weakest D in terms of strength was straight up laughing during his own death! Laughing!
Remember Luffyās execution at Loguetown? Saw that shit 7 years ago and it still gives me chills to this day. Dude had a huge grin on his face as his head was about to be chopped off!
The same can be said about Roger. And Ace who is one of the colder Dās was even seen smiling during his death.
Dās donāt turn against their own resolve. Ever. Blackbeard did. Which is pretty lame if you ask me.
Anyhow, Blackbeard is very methodical. Which makes things pretty interesting.
And I did love his speech/demeanor at Mock Town. But I really disliked him during Marineford.
Oda at times does tend to make the villainous characters in One Piece giant scumbags (Morgan, Arlong, Kuro, Wapol, etc), and I donāt believe that Blackbeard properly fits into this category (it may also be important to note that former-villains have a tendency to turn āgoodā after a while through revelations and such).
He is very charismatic, in his own little way. Kinda like the antagonists in most Quentin Tarantino movies.
We donāt even know what D means, or What Roger told WB before he went off to die. All we know is Those who have the Will of D tend to cause some waves in history.
Shit, BB could be the true embodiment of āDā, Or just a different type of D.
Hereās the thing. Blackbeard has planned things methodically, but his plans are based on sheer luck (or āFateā as he calls it). For example, he wait 20 years on a ship to get a specific fruit. Even though it might be true that his best chances of getting such a rare fruit would be on Whitebeardās ship(s), what are the odds that he would be in Thatchās division when he found it, or even be informed of the find at all? That fruit still couldāve ended up anywhere on the planet.
All these events appears to be secretly manipulated for his benefit. Itās not like Law or Doflamingo, who have to control every aspect of a plan for things to fall into place. Blackbeard makes broad goals that have specific resolutions in his favor, his āfateā is essentially sealed. This is one of the reasons why Blackbeard āIsnāt like the othersā like Whitebeard said.
He has a fear of death. He lacks strict loyalty unless you can do something for him. Heās the polar opposite of Luffy in every respect (Mocktown bar scene)
The only D-like trait that drives him is his belief is dreams.
I think heās literally the black sheep of the Ds and his role in the story is to serve as the āAgent Smithā of One Piece. A seemingly ordinary secondary character that goes under the radar until the very end where heās polluted the entire system.
Marshall āDā Teachās belief in ādreamsā probably came from a bad childhood where he was rejected. I think unlike the real Ds heās probably the only one to truly ponder his true purpose/lineage and was able to communicate with whatever āforceā drives all of them (a force which might actually be malevolent). This is why I think everything has been falling into his favor, heās been conspiring with something or someone we just havenāt seen yet.
BlackBeard is an amazingly written character to make you hate him as a person. Most animes have you hate a character becuase the writer is incompetent as fuck, but blackbeard is a nigga i would punch in the face in real life
Put me in the camp of hanging with BB. Dude just seems like a really laid back and cool guy who loves living life and it would be fun to hang out with him⦠unless you have something he wants then youāre screwed.
I just hate how BB sneaks around so much to get what he wants. Even though he has multiple abilities, heās still a coward and i hope somebody exposes him soon.
No love for Blackbeard myself but I do respect the hell out of him for being a crafty SOB without being annoying creatorās bitch in the way certain other manga bad guys come across.
