I agree. The dualities in personality also hint strongly at some sort of Devil Fruit ability. I like how the younger brother Bobby is such an enabler too (holding down Kerryās opponents a being coy about it. lol).
The sheer randomness of the battles makes it so entertaining, I literally donāt know whatās going to happen next. That Hasshou martial art seems like Fishman Karate, but for landlubbers, affecting solid material. Impressive that the Don Chinjao has Conquerorās Haki, but not surprising at this stage. To think, heās an underling in Doflamingoās gang and not even the strongest guy either.
Jean Ango is what I wanted to see. A bounty hunter who is capable (actually got close enough to Luffy to steal his helmet), I just hope he can prove his mettle in the later rounds.
That Piston Punch boxer Ideo seems to be from the Long Arm tribe. My guess is that he trained his upper arm with heavy restraints to the point where he can pull off ridiculously powerful punches like a spring.
Lastly, I hope Lucy doesnāt have any problems with anyone other than Don Chinjao. Although at this stage, itāll be refreshing to actually see Luffy meet a nemesis that make him show off his true strength. Diamond might be that dude.

Iām sure you did but in case I missed it Iād like for Luffy to get it, even though the straw hats might not getting it at all, because Iād like to see a bit more of Ace in Luffy. Kinda like the Father/Son Kamehameha but with Ace and Luffy.
Plus itād be sick seeing a Flaming Gomu Gomu no Elephant Gattling.

Nah but yah see, the thing is Luffy has what I like to call āMain Character Powersā meaning him eating 2 devil fruits means nothing.
Also someone mentioned Black Beard was able to have 2 fruits because of his body shape and since Luffy can morph his body shape, idk.
At this stage Luffy could probably do that with his own power. Plus, only Negrobeard can consume multiple fruits.

Interesting how three of the big mangas (Naruto, Toriko, Beelzebub) are right in the middle of a ācrazy-powerful single opponent messing everyone up in the middle of a big brawlā story at the same time. At this rate Iām almost expecting Monkey D. Dragon to drop into the arena and start beating on people in One Piece.
I may be a little late asking this question but is it safe so say that Blackbeard is the weakest Yonko? I mean dude bitched up when Shanks came at him and if im not mistaken, didnt they say that Mama could easily take him out if she wanted to? I mean its possible that he could be stronger than Kaido but i doubt it because there has to be a reason why he hasnāt been revealed yet.
We know he was strong enough to give Shanks his Scar, and Shanks himself acknowledges his strength, he defeated Ace, and I doubt the guys in his crew wouldāve joined him if he was a jobber.
His Yami Yami no mi negates Devil Fruit powers and is pretty much a black hole.
He also has Gura Gura no Mi which gives him the power to just fuck up the world when ever he wants.
On top of that, itās been hinted that he has even more Devil Fruit abilities at his disposal post-timeskip.
Blackbeard himself wasnāt crazy-strong pre-timeskip. He mostly coasted by on his OP fruit powers. Notice how once you got past that, he basically seemed to be on a level with Usopp.
Of course, that also includes the ability to get up and waddle on after being hit with heavy damage.
He also, however, gets by on being an opportunist sneaky bastard. And since heās got a crew of crazy-powerful people right now, Iām guessing heās had to buff up to keep them in line.
Blackbeard is being set up as the ultimate Big Bad of the series, the way things are looking nowā¦ Iām just hoping Oda manages to avoid the anime trope of āunstoppable force that every character in the series fights againstā trope that Narutoās doing right now, once it comes down to it.
Didnāt Shanks or Law say Kaido is the strongest beast on the planet after Whitebeard died?
I think BB has been doing some serious sandbagging, concealing his true strength to slip under the radar to carry out his agenda.
As stated he was able to scar Shanks in a fair fight, however, he was still no match for a sick, half dead Whitebeard. I guess thatās a testimony to how freaking powerful Whitebeard truly was.
Was it specified how strong Shanks was when he was scarred? By the time he was a Yonko he could have been leagues stronger than he was when BB scarred him. Also Shanks did have the balls to confront WB one on one he cannot be as weak as your comment entails. I hold on to my opinion that Shanks is stronger than BB, heās also at an advantage because he has no fruit (most likely) so BB has no power to nullify making the matchup 5-5 rather than 7-3 when BB stole Aceās power.
