That would be interesting but from a military standpoint wouldn’t make much sense. In the context of them being military war machines, it would make more sense if they were designed for a crew to operate and was independently powered as such. Seeing as there is only one kind of Devil Fruit at a time, it wouldn’t be logical to base an entire ship on a randomly appearing fruit and depending on one figure to utilize the ship. (unless the people of this “lost civilization” had direct access)
I’m interested in Kaidou, he is bound to be the main antagonist of Luffy in the future due to being clearly evil. Being a Yonkou I want to know what influence he has in the New World.
Kaidou is definitely gonna be revealed to be a cut throat dude. Hoodest of the yonkou. Rolling up on the grand opening of ports . Blasting gun shots in the air . If he had the audacity to ambush Whitebeard he will definitely want a piece of his land . Do Flo is probably the next main antagonist FISHMAN ISLAND is gonna be home to the all the scum he loves to fund .
Kinda expected since not only was the point of going to Sabaondy to get the ship coated to be able to go down to Fishman Island, but we’ve seen many ships from the New World with this ability (since they all have to pass through Fishman Island).
I wonder was Enel’s ship an ancient weapon or just a hint at how powerful an ancient weapon could be. With his power he destroyed an entire city with a thundercloud and an entire village with a lightening strike.
Could be an example of Sky Island technology. Maybe this lost civilization spread its knowledge far and wide.
Seeing as [what I believe to be] an early representation of Kaidou had a sword, it would be cool if he was just a normal human swordsman, or better yet a Yonkou Zoan (like a Dragon)!
I always thought his ship was man-made(wasn’t it made by Skypeians he captured?). It could be considered a very powerful weapon, but only because his ship was just a giant conductor for his DF.
I’m sure the weapons like Pluton have some other reason for being so feared/revered. Hopefully Franky’s raid of Vegapunk’s labs means we’ll get to know a little more about them.
From the looks of it a coated ship can only go underwater once. Once it comes back out the jelly bubble pops, so to go underwater again it’d need to be recoated. But thats just my observation from the events we’ve seen of coated ships.
Nah, we’ve seen ships pop up and then submerge again (most of the ships from Whitebeards fleet as well as Shanks’ Red Force). Also, if it needed to be recoated, then they’d have to take a coating technician like Rayleigh with them.
GOD, FINALLY!!! I haven’t been on SRK in months because it’s blocked at Sheppard Memorial Library for being “Game-related” or some shit! However, I decided to check out the Joyner Library at ECU and they DON’T have SRK blocked, thank God!

Sanji took the news about Luffy going to Amazon Lily way better than I thought he would.
in the panel before sanji confronts luffy about whether he was really training, you can see him enraged so much that he has fire covering him. I didn’t catch it the first time I read the chapter, but he was clearly pissed lol.
Now I’m sure we’ll get more outbursts from him if they visit newkama land or meet up with Hancock again.
It’s pretty obvious to me that Coby will become an Admiral. In those 2 years he’s probably trained harder than ever before to reach his goal, and while he won’t be Admiral level now, certain circumstances (possibly involving super-owned and permanently immobilized Admiral) in the future will move him up in the ranks.
I seriously doubt Coby ever even makes it to Garp level, so to the people setting up the ending to One Piece being Luffy vs Coby, I’m sorry but I just don’t see it.
Coby hasn’t even made a name for himself amongst the marines yet, while Luffy is widely renown as the “Straw-Hat” amongst both the pirate world and the marine world. Coby standing toe-to-toe with him at the end of it all just seems a bit of a stretch.
Hell, Coby has done all this growing up, and he’s probably still weaker than Luffy was when he first met him popping out of that barrel.
But then, it’s Oda, the man does crazier things with his characters. I never saw Hachi’s character development coming.
