I’d say it was as canon as any anime filler (heck it provided a short anime filler arc as a prelude). Not to mention, what with Episode 0 being out there and considered canon, it has to fit at least into the bizarre timeline of the anime series. Film Z is a different story other then showing off Aokiji’s current status because it is difficult to fit anywhere but we will see.
Also both Shiki and Z were protrayed as pretty broken older dudes that lost their luster via broken or warped dreams during the final fights so I wouldn’t put them on brand new admiral level. Also Kizaru is lazy as fuck, I’m surprised the new Fleet Admiral can stand that fool enough not to demote him.
Strong World wasn’t canon in the sense that it doesn’t fit in with the actual story… what is canon about Strong World is the fact that Oda wrote it and Golden Lion Shiki was a real character in the manga storyline.
I really wish Shuraiya was a canon character though. Such a waste of a cool bounty hunter. =/
The Z movie would have an odd place in the canon… If anything, it’d have to be right inbetween the Anime filler where they fight against part of the Neo-Navy and the Punk Hazard arc, otherwise it’s going to be way way into the future from the current point. Unless of course they run around without Law for a while after the Dressrosa arc.

I’m guessing Bart is a fruit user force field fruit or something. Thought I think haki still plays a part in it - a force field would act like a bubble (assumption alert) so getting snuffed that hard would still move him. But I admit that’s an assumption…

That fishguy’s hand looks pretty mangled. Almost like it wasn’t just blocked, but chewed on.
His “cannibal” schtick might be his fruit “eating” anyone who gets close. Cloud of nanomachine-type things surrounding his body, that kinda thing.
That, or a forcefield that pushes back.

When old dude went all Jinpachi I knew the fight had to be stopped midway, shit was getting way too serious. Damn man, I really want to see how strong Young Garp was back in the day.
Bartolomew has to be a user, if anything it look like Hack’s attack was reversed on him rather than it simply being a forcefield. A forcefield would’ve shown some kind of impact effect even if invisible.
