Seeing how Law is in full control of his Armaments Haki I doubt “Old World” Buggy would prove to be any kind of challenge.

Usually Oda writes the true name himself when he makes character debuts, I don’t remember if it was a direct translation by the scanlators or if Oda wrote the name himself. I still think Clown might appropriate since Oda has a fondness for Clowns (Buggy being his favorite character and all.)

It looks like Slime is going to be a bit more difficult to take out then your normal one. He isn’t a Metal Slime, but exploding when burned and releasing poison gas when struck means, it will be insane to take it on head on. Usopp or SogeKing would come in handy right about now.

Outside of that, given how this chapter ended, perhaps “Clown” is the right family name for Caesar, especially since he just blabbed a probable weakness… Stupid G-5 guys not being Genre Savvy. Setting an amorphous blob on fire almost never works unlike most other movie monsters.
Anyway, I’m kinda curious how the Slime got around the Fire Plains without nuking that half of the island, but whatever. It’s going to get fucked up pretty hilariously in the next half a dozen chapters if not sooner.
“Counter Shock” isn’t “basic”. I just meant Law being able to slice people apart and rearrange them like Legos. Buggy and Very Good should be utterly immune to that.
My money is on Nami taking out the slime once she gets switched back. That or Law just tosses him in the ocean/lake.

Heh. So I finally went over to Arlong Park a bit before I left and I saw that someone pointed out that in Chapter 662, Sanji potentially has another crappy bounty picture taken. Slightly less amusing is that Usopp seems to be called “Sogeking” still.
“Basic” can be relative. I didn’t see Law having to manifest any obscure energy or do complicated handsigns to use it. If anything, Mes seemed more “advanced”. Anywho, my point is even with their ability, if they don’t have full control over how they’re disassembled, it can still be an annoyance for Buggy and Berri Good.
Luffy grabbing Smoker['s body] was like a dream come true, for years I’ve waited to see that moment pause only to have it be a comedy bit.

That slime is like the perfect biological weapon, if something like that was developed in real life it could be potentially more devastating than a single nuclear strike.
