Out of the remaining Yonkou, it’s really only Kaidou (and Blackbeard if he’s gone to that level) that could be an enemy.
He obviously won’t fight Shanks too seriously. It won’t be a death match anyway, and Big Mom might be Lola’s mom.
Big Mom is definitely Lola’s mom, but that doesn’t mean she won’t be an enemy. This is Oda, after all.
They’ll probably be enemies due to some big misunderstanding caused by Luffy’s shenanigans, but once the air clears will most likely become allies.
Bear in mind Fishman Island is under her protection…
Big Mom will probably be the first Yonko that the Straw Hats meet since Nami has her vivre card, but I think that she’ll become an ally.
The Blackbeard battle will probably be near the end of the series.
I don’t think that Kaido will be the next enemy because X Drake landed on one of his islands already.
I doubt that any of the other Supernovas will be their next enemy either because the Straw Hats will probably follow their own unique path through the New World.
I’d like to see them fight an admiral, but they’ll probably meet some new enemy instead of facing a character that’s been introduced already.
I wonder when Magellan will make another appearance.
Errrm, what’s wrong with Oda’s story telling? This isn’t Bleach/Naruto.
I think Keits was trying to say that Oda will find a way to throw off readers even if a certain outcome is really obvious.
I’m glad I put off the Fishman Island arc until now. Felt this arc was going too slow but its shaping up nicely now.
The final moments of an arc are always the best in OP.

Yeah but Nami has absolutely no reason to meet her, it would most likely be incidental.

Supernovas are essentially wild cards, Kidd is definitely in the category of a man whose morals and motivations will clash with Luffy at some point. Kidd only respects Luffy’s rebellious nature and strength, nothing more, nothing less.
In fact he’s probably the most realistic pirate out of the lot, as far as temperament goes.
Sakazuki, oh that might be my favorite showdown in the history of the series when it comes. Oh yeah and Super Admiral Coby. Hopes he’s a regular human when it happens
That would be cool actually, but I think this time around the fight would reach its climax very quickly, as both characters done mess around. Magellan felt personally responsible for the events at Impel Down so he has the ultimate motive to destroy Mugiwara.

Didn’t mean anything by it. Was just looking for examples. I’ve always found the story to be extremely well put together. Almost everything gets explained (even when it’s much later in the series) to the best of my knowledge.
I’m going with a dark horse and saying Vegapunk. His name has been floating around for the longest time, and we still have no idea what he looks like (outside of the infamous Oda-silhouette) or what he’s truly capable of.

No new chapter this week, which means we have to wait a little while longer for the eventual showdowns that were previewed over the last two chapters.
But my money is on Big Mom being the next Yonkou the Strawhats meet. Fishman island is under her protection and Luffy no doubt is going to play a hand in wrecking it somehow and most likely that candy factory of hers.
Agreed. Big Mam will have to be the next Yonkou because the others are 100% malevolent and Shanks will be a very special reunion.
