It would be very convenient story~wise for vander decken to die. If dying deactivates his power the ship will come crashing down on the island and Luffy in his fight with Hody might destroy the island while using the ship to save his friends somehow. This would fulfill the prophecy while giving Luffy a logical reason to destroy Fishman Island. Fishmen can easily swim to ship as refuge and hence be Grand Line "immigrantsā above surface, unifying both worlds.

coverstory: Alabasta Kingdom, this is the year of Reverie, Chaka and Pell wearing new clothes for it
Decken is stabbed, but he reaches out with his left hand and touches Hody to lock on
The reason Hody stabbed him is because if Decken dies, his powers should go away and the ark will fall on Fishman Island
Decken throws an axe at him, but Hody dodges. The axe returns to him, but Hody uses Decken as a shield so it comes straight for him.
Hody goes after Shirahoshi before the ark falls
Manboshi and Ryuuboshi comes in to stop, but he blows them away easily
He hops on back of Shirahoshi and attemps to kill her, but Luffy stops him just in time with Gomu Gomu Snake Gun. (Snake gun?)
Fukaboshi and Shirahoshi comes together (Luffy on Fukaboshiās back)
Hody tells him he canāt protect anything
Luffy replies heāll protect everything, thatās what the last two years were for
second half
The scene changes to the plaza.
Zeo convinces Wadatsumi to battle Surume
The feed Wadatsumi ES pills, and he knocks out Surume
He then goes after Jinbe, but Jinbe replies with a roundhouse kick that takes him down
The gust of wind caused by the fight knocks Nami down, and Sanji kicks his head in rage
Sanji & Jinbe vs ES Wadatsumi
Zoro vs ES Houzou (Hyouzou eats ES pill like a side-dish to his sake, and wakes up lol)

Hodi Shit I didnāt expect this chapter this early nor it to ramp up as quickly as it did !Next couple of chapters should be nice, although outside of Zoroās expected match, they seem uneven.
New World indeed, Oda isnāt playing around anymore it seems.

So my dream of Hyouzou vs Zoro is finally happened and it seems that Decken is actually dead, which mean the darkness of the New World finally has been seen. I liked that Snake attack from Luffy, with Haki grip action![/details]
Luffy vs Hody is going to be really interesting considering the setting.

Anyone else just dying waiting to see Usopp take on Zeo? Seems heād be the ideal opponent for him, someone that can perfectly blend into surroundings , lies and is overall hilarious to watch.
One piece any good and worth reading? I read Naruto and Bleach. I think I might go ahead and read the last of the Big 3.
Yes, its a little differnt though - in a good way. The artwork is a little funny āearlyā on - similar to Naruto, but does improve ten fold as the series progresses. It has more dialog than per chapter thans a months worth of Bleach (Iām almost positive if I sat down and counted the last 4.5 issues of Bleach and put them up against a chapter of OP theyād be about even) - and not in a talk too much way, but in an alot is always going on kind of way. The ighting style of the main character has some parallels to Naruto - head first - always seemed overwhelemd, etc.
Its really a better written version of Naruto meets pirates. So in this instance Pirates > Ninjas.

I felt he was going to face either Sanji or Brook. Both are considered gentlemanly so I figured they would have an entertaining rabble-rouse of sorts.
I like that Oda draws SSJ2 electric spark-like energy every time Luffy is using Haki to let us know when heās using it. No idle debates.
Wow, hold up. Gotta stop you right there man. Transformation sequences are the merging of manliness. Once the transformation sequence starts, the sheer manliness stops time and space. It would be rude of the universe to allow such a thing to happen, and when it does (which it has), the attacker usually gets blown up by the manliness anyway. Baddies canāt mess with the shield of manliness that is formed during the transformation sequences and for that reason they always let them happen. They have a better chance at winning after they transform than during.
And remember kids, real men ride each other.
