I was reading chapting 636, and I noticed a panel with Robin simply staring at Franky’s new docking transformation, and it reminded me of what happened at Thriller Bark, haha.

I would have highly preferred the announcement of a One Piece fighting game by ArcSys instead of Persona 4.

While a fighting game would have been nice, One Piece Musou is all Koei needed to do to get me to buy a Musou game again after over half a decade.
I went to mangafox and did it there. The crew tried to ‘form like voltron’ against Luffy in the zombified body. Robin gave that look when they were missing an arm and they said they needed her for the arm.

I agree, but a 2D style fighting game for OP would be one overdue game. I actually invisioned OP fighting games for each ‘era’; One OP fighter with characters up til Logue Town, a sequel with chars up til Alabasta, 3rd with chars up til Skypiea, 4th with chars up til E. Lobby, another up til Shabody.
Still a musou style game could be fun =p

Being Luffy and “storming” through thousands of jobber Marines sounds like epic fun, and yes I mean epic. I would love to relive the entire Enies Lobby scenario down to the fight with Rob Lucci. Just thinking about that gets me AMPED! :nunchuck:
But I agree, a traditional 2D fighter One Piece game is my dream as well. Gear Second being Luffy’s Wolverine~esque Speed Up mode, Chopper with his LV.3 Were-Human form that drains his Red Lifebar away the longer he stays out, Sentinel Franky, LV.3 Zoro Asura, Robin turtling, Keepaway Ussop, Rushdown Kim-esque Sanji with infinite Sky Walk airdashes, Jigglypuff sleep-stun Brooke with LV.5 Resurrection, and Spiral/Oroburos Nami with Illusion traps.
It’s cool, I checked them out somewhere else. lol Robin is such an old maid.
(Kinda have to agree with Robin here, if only because I think even as a little kid, I wondered they the hell they didn’t get struck down during the transformation sequence. Nice to see Azula point that out a decade and a half later.)

Anyway, Luffy versus Kuma is part of that game? Gee. I can’t wait to slapped around the world in real-time. It’d be funny if you had to leave your system on for three days if/when that happened.

Despite liking One Piece a lot more than Persona, especially since I’ve never played more than the first Persona game, I have to disagree, at least if it was the expense of the game. I don’t know. I’m just kinda of a fan of games with small casters and there’s way too many people that would be left out even if the game had more characters than MvC2.
I don’t see how you’re make a One Piece game and make it good while making an accurate representation of the characters that people want, especially since pretty much every other game with loads and loads of characters from an anime tend end up janky as hell.

I just realized that their isw nowrong way to make this game all they have to do is make it completely true to the story and have well timed cutscenes and do a little quest mode for straw hats .
Hell they can do a mode for shichibukai to hunt down pirates and shit. psn only means we gotta get some sessions in folks
I was looking at a scene with Basil Hawkins somewhere in the New World about to confront this cyborg who was representing Kaido. I remembered a rare drawing of an unnamed guy who suspiciously looks like Kaido’s silhouette years ago the color walk pic. He had some artificial attachments/bolts and wielded a sword, and although not mentioned or seen again, clearly had some importance. I believe Kaido a technological genius of some kind.
Then, I realized something else. 20+ years ago Cutty Flam, aka Franky, was also a pirate whose pirate family kicked him off their ship for unknown reasons. Even at an early age Franky displayed a knowledge of technology that exceed the other shipwrights and was able to cybernetically enhance himself after his incident with the train. I theorize that Franky’s father might indeed be Kaido!
Due to Kaido’s reputation as a ruthless man, him tossing his [wayward] son overboard wouldn’t be too surprising; and it would explain why young Franky was already so keen at mechanical tinkering.
Interesting theory that actually makes sense dude could have considered his son obsolete or too inferior to live compared to him.I mean we see how cutthroat pirates from the new world are.I mean his attack on Whitebeard could have been him finding Whitebeard too old and outdated to live.Plus the snow island is reminiscent of vegapunks home island.Vegapunk had cyborganimals running around .Kaidou could have cypirates

I know, even considering Van Decken is probably one of the 8 ft tall badasses that seem to populate the world of OP, that dagger would have been like a pin, considering Luffy and Brook aren’t even taller then old girl’s boobs. No wonder Luffy keeps calling her names, biggest baby ever.

Hodi stabbing Van Decken still seems a bit like damage control, dude sucks as a fighter without juice but is trying to make up for it by being the biggest dirt bag introduced not a current or former Shichibukai or in the Marines.
