Oars died.
Was Sandersoniaās head that big as a child? I thought she and Marigold looked about as normal as Hancock.
Also, where is the new chapter?
(Ugh. Iām going to spend a lot of time on this wiki, arenāt I?)
Hmmmā¦Iām sure how I feel about the Gura Gura No Mi being stated to be the strongest of Paramecia. I mean, yeah, itās probably top-tier, especially in causing the destruction, but I have to wonder
I think they were talking about āLittleā Oars Jr., whose fate after the war is indeterminate, but, yeah, I wouldnāt be surprised at all if he died since, unlike Curiel, he wasnāt seen being saved even in the anime and everyone thought he was dead mid-way through the battle. Iām sure that seeing Ace die probably broke him too, soā¦
Speaking of other named characters who possibly died since VS is insistent about this, John Giant being dead wouldnāt surprised between getting raped by [media=youtube]F9LKRMsXE0U&feature=related]Whitebeard and being the other side of the siege wall when Akainu used his meteor fist attack. The same with Ronse [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4ELWgIQ9kA&feature=related[/media]ā¦
It seems like it would be a rather difficult feat to prevent a giant from drowning unless your name was Aokiji, and even then he was busy with other things, like shutting off all the ācamerasā.
Iām pretty sure that Sandersonia still looked like Hey! Arnold! in the flashback.
Also, the new chapter/the chapter for this week we got early. Itās the chapter that VS and others are griping about from a couple of pages back.
Iām just reminded of the fact that Roronoa Zoro killed 100 bounty hunters on Whiskey Peak Island.
And seeing Akainu horribly murder a fellow Marine/family man for desertion was quite horrifying IMO. Didnāt matter that he was a minor character considering the emotional elements involved.
But I digressā¦
I still wonder about where the hell Colossal Battleship San Juan Wolf was hidden in Impel Down? The foundation? How did they supply him with enough food? It wouldāve probably have been cheaper to execute him and use his meat to feed the Blue Gorillas/Beasts for years.
About Sabo: I donāt think heās dead either, but it really makes me wonder how heāll look like if he appears later on. We already saw what heād look like in the present day, but I really donāt think heāll appear like that if/when he appears.
Makes me wonder how the hell he got down there in the first place. And how the hell he managed to get to Marineford for the war without being detected a mile away. Ah, One Piece, you leave so much to the imagination!
Currently rewatching Enies Lobby/CP9 saga. I really canāt get enough it. IMO, the CP9 were the biggest badasses to ever roam the One Piece world. I mean, those Rokushiki techniques were the shit.
San Juan probably got buried underneath the jail or they had a special cell for him
Lucchi was definitely one of the most badass villains in the story so far.
What I like about Lucci was that his will was never broken until his body was. Crocodile had a strong will, but he was more underhanded in his approach and focused on psychologically breaking Luffy down. Lucci just wanted to defeat Luffy with sheer overpowering force!
I donāt think weāll see a foe the likes of him until Kaidou shows up. I think Kaidou will be the next demon for Luffy to overcome by sheer will and not just simple strategy.
Also, Ronse shouldnāt be alive, AT ALL. Getting a STABed Life Orbed Earthquake in your skull should liquefy your brain until it reaches a smoothie-like consistency.
Sheeiiiiit, CURIEL shouldnāt be alive! He was impaled by a magma fist AND he burst into flames!
speaking of cp9, seeing kaku made me love the series
breakdancing were giraffe swordsman, fuck yeah
Kaku was the least āevilā of the CP9. For him it was more about duty. He also adapted to his fruit INSANELY FAST. Jesus he could easily surpass Lucci given enough time.
yea he was just doing his job, still a boss though and prob one of my fav characters.
where do you guys read these databooks at btw?
(Giraffes are cool.)
Holy shit that last post I made was addled-brain. I didnāt finish an entire thought and I didnāt link to Curielās page on the wikiāsaid wiki is increasingly taking up my time.
Wait, Curiel got impaled too? I thought he just got hit and covered in magma, which cause him set on fire and collapse. Whileā¦detrimental to oneās health, it seems rather difficult to believe that heās survive the exact same thing that killed Ace in the exact same battle. (Yet I honestly canāt remember what chapter itās in and Iām not going to look it up right now, soā¦)
Ah, so thatās part of the reason you want Kaidou to be a Zoan.
Lol, Life Orb.
But, yeah, I wouldnāt be surprised if Ronse died between a combination of things. The bigger they are, the harder their skull gets cracked.
I wonder how insanely jealous that would make Jyabura. I have to wonder if part of the reason for him excelling with his fruit so quickly, beyond his obvious battle prowess, is because he liked the animal he became. So far, and please correct me if Iām wrong, heās been the only Zoan to ever comment on the animal he became AND state that he liked it, correct? Iād imagine that might help a bit or, at the very least, he wasnāt lamenting like he become something as awkward and seemingly non-threatening as a giraffe like so many other people probably would have, even with Zoro in front of them.
Since weāre talking about the Ushi Ushi no Mi: Model Giraffe, its atypical weakness of having a long neck reminded me that I was curious if any other Zoan had a similar typical weakness related to its animal; this is excluding the possible interpretation of the apparent blood-thirst that consuming a carnivorous Zoan brings or the seeming loss of humanity/higher thought that becoming an Awakened Zoan brings. There hasnāt been any confirmation that any of the Inu Inu no Miās give like color blindness, right? I suppose it might not be a problem in hybrid-form anyway, though, just like how Sandersonia and Marigold donāt become cold-blooded in hybrid form.
Bolded in what I was originally going to put in the first place.
**
Fun Fact!:** Humans have more neck vertebrae (6) than a giraffe (5)!
Never really thought of it that way, I just think Oda would relegate one true textbook pirate-Yonkou and give him the most badass/fearsome fruit his imagination can muster.
I actually donāt think any of the Yonkou (save for Negrobeard) will be a Logia. I think the Logia prowess is mostly a Marine trait, since they have the best access to rare fruits, not saying itās impossible for worldly pirates on getting them, but I donāt think itās an accident that all 3 Admirals have super powerful Logias.
Well Kaku actually turned the long neck into a huge advantage. With Kami-e he made his neck transform and move in very unnatural ways to avoid Zoroās attacks. Male giraffes are also quite violent during mating season. lol
Iām still a believer of the theory that Zoan fruits do bring forth their inner animal instincts into the beings they inhabit. Lucci would habitually lick blood off himself even in his normal state, showing either his sadism or that his carnivorous fruit enhanced his overall demeanor. Jyabura was a trickster based on fables like Little Red Riding Hood, etcā¦
Whitebeard fruit is stated to be the strongest because itās the only fruit confirmed to truly be able to destroy the planet (as mentioned by Sengoku). Itās power was felt worldwide and localized it changed an entire landscape with ease.
Nikyu Nikyu no Mi is a ridiculously powerful fruit and it borders on near impossible to counter (unless seastone or Haki can bypass it somehow) but it doesnāt possess the sheer destructive power Gura Gura no Mi had.
And as for Trafalgar Law, Iām glad you brought him up because heās still waiting on Luffy to head to the New World. I hope heās realized Haki as well, so he can use his fruit in really cool ways.
āRoom⦠Color of Armaments⦠Bomb Shelter!ā
bah beat me to it heh
- :bluu:
Yeah this isnāt going to end wellā¦
Got that right, but then again, it is One Piece, when does it ever end well for a character getting the focus in a flashback?

[details=Spoiler] Surprise to see the Queen have a moment of weakness like that, but damn those fish island residents were shady to actually ask for their signatures back some after 5 years. Crazy how she didnāt even get double digit percentage of the residents after that long despite seemingly be very popular among the people and does crazy amount of jobs.
Damn, is Oda starting a trend with another Tenryuubito appearing at the end of a flashback arc? I was sure it was Vander Decken that killed her, but who canāt see this play out with the Queen getting shot by a noble after attempting to save them? [/details]
But glad to see Jimbei beat the shit out of Arlong before he let him wonder off for talking all that crap.
50 million residents on Fishman Island⦠wow, I definitely underestimated their population.
so thatās howā¦
[details=Spoiler] ā¦it happened. Itās interesting how Jinbe inspired more fear in the Marines than Fisher did. Arlong got his shit pushed in like he deserved, but unfortunately Jinbe doesnāt have a murderous spirit. Going the path of least resistance Arlong set up shop in the weakest Blue and was able to avoid Jinbe as a result.
Otohimeās efforts were so noble but, Fishmen were just too scurred. Such a shame. [/details]
I wonder if Koalaās relationship with the Fishman Pirates is what fostered his unusual slavish relationship with little Nami?
Oh and poor Strawberryās broken bone hair, it might take months to heal properly.
Hah, yeah it looks like Aarlong took a page out of Fisherās book when it came to dealing with Nami⦠of course it was totally twisted, cruel and self-serving version and Iām sure heād have no problem ending her as soon as she became useless to him. lol
